dizietemblesssma
Trying to troubleshoot morrowind I made a new profile with all the mods disabled, however the 'plugins' tab still says that all esps etc are enabled, is this right, and if so what exactly does 'enabled' mean in this context? I don't want to make a bug report if this isn't a bug:) screenshots: and yet the plugins tab looks like this: This in Vortex 0.17.11 diziet
IMN666
maybe you have to uninstall and reinstall the game. i don't use vortex so i don't know for sure
dizietemblesssma
maybe you have to uninstall and reinstall the game. i don't use vortex so i don't know for sureRight, what I'm saying is that I discovered this phenomenon of Vortex listing enabled plugins that aren't whilst doing something else. My morrowind is fine except for one small thing and I'm trying to track down the mod responsible. Hence disabling all the mods, when disabled they are properly disabled in game, it's just that Vortex lists the plugins as enabled :)

Tannin42
The plugin list in Vortex is just a very simple (and stupid) UI to help manage that part of the ini, it doesn't currently "synchronise" with the mod list in any way and has no support for profiles. It seems to be working for me.
rmm200
Just make sure you only use one mod manager in a game.If you install a bunch of mods using FOMM or whatever is appropriate for Morrowind, those ESPs will stay active no matter what you tell Vortex.General rule: Vortex only manages the mods it installs. (Tannin will step on me if I am incorrect in this)
Rattledagger
Not sure what you mean by 'no support for profiles' though, I assume I can use the profiles feature of Vortex in Morrowind? It seems to be working for me. You can have separate profiles with separate enabled and disabled mods, but Vortex doesn't support having separate save-games per profile, or separate plugin-order per profile. If you switches between profiles, while the mods has changed, the Plugin-tab is FUBAR since it still often lists the plugins for the old profile, even if some of the plugins points to non-exisiting plugins on this profile. Now I did just test-out a work-around for the lack of separate plugin-order per profile, by manually creating new sub-directories under /mods/-directory in Vortex and for each adding the Morrowind.ini. At the end re-starting Vortex, choosing "Apply Changes" to the warning about "Mods changed on disk", for so on mods-tab opening-up the extra dialogue on the right (double-click one of the mods), under "Mod Type" choose "dinput" for all the mods containing Morrowind.ini and enable one of these mods per-profile. While this method seems to work, since the correct load-order as shown at the end of Morrowind.ini located in Morrowind-directory did correctly change as I was switching profiles, two disadvantages are:1: Plugin-tab displays garbage, it's not the same order as is used in Morrowind.ini and therefore in-game.2: Every time deploys or switches profiles get message the mod having the Morrowind.ini has been changed. I would highly recommend making sure Morrowind.ini contains the correct plugin load-order per profile by exiting Vortex and using notepad or something to verify the current order.
