Zanderat
Doesn't seem to affect anything. Now, I know people will say "don't touch the staging folder!" But I didn't. This started when I was using the the "remove" function to get rid of older versions. "Apply Changes" does nothing. Thanks.

This started when I was using the the "remove" function to get rid of older versions. "Apply Changes" does nothing. Thanks. Are you saying "apply changes" doesn't actually do anything? I just created a new folder in my staging area and when I restarted Vortex that popup appeared and "save changes" just added a new mod for me. Can you try going to your staging folder manually and removing the folder with that name?

Pickysaurus
When you close that error are you able to use Vortex normally? I would also suggest doing a full purge and deploy your mods again to ensure there's no problems with other files.
Zanderat
Yup. Only functionality it loses is the initialization that occurs when you open the app. Will try a purge/redeploy.

Pickysaurus
Hmm, this is very odd. Can you try restoring the folder or creating a new one with the same name? Then see if you can apply the changes?
Zanderat
So, I created a mod with the same name and installed it. Closed and reopened Vortex. I then uninstalled the dummy mod. Closed Vortex and reopened it again. This time no error. Looks good.
Pickysaurus
Glad you got it sorted, I'm really puzzled as to how it got into that state.
