The Age of the Dragon

She took a long sip of the ale and wiped her mouth afterwards with her arm, then extended a gloved hand in greeting. "Isabela. Captain Isabela ... although my ship would be happy to see some repairs, I am sure," she shook her head sadly at the thought and sighed. "So count me in, I am game! But," she hesitated a little. "Dare I ask what brings you into the Deep Roads? It seems you are looking for quite a LOT of help and have gotten it." Isabela looked around. The red haired elf seemed to be in the trip too, and then there was the guy who had almost attacked her early. She also saw a Qunari and twitched a little. The whole adventure with the Relic had been way too recent to forget just yet. And the Qunari had always frightened her a little no matter what.

"It can't just be to kill a few darkspawn, just because. You could easily do that yourself, no other warrior is as skilled in dealing with those creatures than you and your folks. So why an expedition? Is there a threat of another Blight?"

"No. Thank the Maker it's not another Blight." Illadriel replied and frowned a little. She clearly spent too much time with the shemlen but no matter how much she wanted to return back to her clan she had important duties that cannot be ignored.

"The Grey Wardens venture to the Deep Roads even when there's no Blight. To watch and gather information." This was as far as the elf was willing to tell, at least for now. She knew that the others had questions and rightly so but soon they will see everything themselves.

The pirate just nodded and took another sip of her drink.

She felt that there was way more behind all this, but she also knew Grey Wardens tend to have a lot of secrets, which was fine with her since she had quite a few herself. She smiled a little over the thought and then asked the Dalish woman if she would like a drink. "And where will we all meet up tomorrow, anyways?" she added.

"I could use a drink, thanks." Illadriel replied and stared at the already empty tankard in her hands. The other one is going to be last one she'll have.

"Here, in The Hanged Man." The elf added and sighed heavily. She hated expeditions like these but duty is duty and she can't ignore it.

Jadaco still kept his eyes on the stranger, and not for the fact that she wasn't wearing any pants but because he was still suspicious of her. However, he would still have to go to bed soon. Orum stayed by his side, lying relaxed on the ground....but not asleep. He was prepared to defend Jadaco at any moment, and the same thing vice-versa. Jadaco wished he was outdoors, he hated these cramped, crowded spaces.

"Well, that's convenient," and with that she emptied her drink. She did notice the man's look on her however. I bet it's because of the pants, it's always because of the pants, she sighed silently and chuckled in her mind. "You want a drink too? I feel generous, here." And with that she ordered him one as well. "But I think I am heading to bed myself now. I'll just go and get some stuff ready and then meet you here tomorrow morning. Nighty night," she was passing by the scarred man on the way and added "oh, and that's a really sexy scar you have there. I find scars quite appealing." She winked at him, waved at the Dalish Warden with a smile and was off.

"Well, that's a new one." Jadaco stated somewhat absentmindedly. He downed his drink in a few swigs, before he spoke to Illadriel.

"I ought to head to bed as well, gonna need a lot of it for the expedition tommorow. And now that the pirate's gone, I don't need to worry about any assaults. Good night, I'll see you in the morning." He added the last bit pleasantly. He got up from his chair and walked upstairs, eventually managed to find out which bedroom was his, and fell asleep in the bed.

When the others had retired for the night, Illadriel stayed in the common room for some time waiting in case someone else wanted to join. Because no one did she went to her room as well.

The Warden woke up early in the morning. After a quick bath she went downstairs and ordered breakfast for everyone. She seated herself at the table and started eating her breakfast. Today they we'll be heading to the Deep Roads. She hoped that others had rested well because who knows how long they're going to stay there.

Thomas went back to the Hanged Man, already packed and ready to leave. "Morning." He said cheerfully and sat beside the elf and started devouring his food.

Alaila had spent most of the night awake, too paranoid to sleep. Someone could have walked in on her and drag her off to the Circle with no warning or anything else. That wouldn't be good.

As soon as the dawn broke, she grabbed her staff and went down the stairs, looking around. With a quick wave to the Dalish Warden and the white-haired mage, she approached the table they were sitting at and subtly nodded.

"Morning. It seems I will, erm...be joining you on your expedition, Warden." she said after a long pause, not really liking the decision. But then again, what else did she have? Nothing. And she needed money if she was to search for her mother.

Back in Lowtown Cyhran goes to the Hanged Man and enjoys the warm rays of the sun and the cool morning wind.

He remembers back to his childhood, where he played with his sister and other children from his tribe in the forests of Seheron.

The warm sun rays shining through the trees, the sound of the forest, when the wind blows through the leaves and overthrowing from one dangerous situation to the next.

He smiles and thinks to himself: "Good old times"

In the Hanged Man he goes to the table and welcomes Illadriel: "I wish you a good morning Grey Warden."

He turns to Thomas and Alaila and bows:

"How rude of me.

May I introduce myself, my name is Cyhran. Mercenary, hunter and also like working as an assassin."

Cyhran takes a chair and sit down to them

"You take part in the expedition, I suppose?."

He giggles.

"Hope you slept all well."
