maredark3d
Hi, I just want to say the posts I made about Vortex were just for sharing my point of view, so could be helpful for some people to know why some users prefer other kind of mod managers and modding process. Never was my intention to incentive hate, but it seems some users cannot respect a point of view, not reading the whole message and making own self prejudges, I have tested the tool for days after the second post, that is why I made that post... I know the tool have features to sort the load order but I dont find them user friendly. I will not response comments about hate or own prejudges, If a person who would write such comments want to write these I feel sorry for them, because cannot see the whole picture, instead just are showing their own selfishness. Just that, regards.
Zanderat
The only thing I recall from your posts was that you positioned yourself as some sort of modding expert above everybody else here and claimed Vortex couldn't handle complex mods. When asked to cite an example, you couldn't.
AugustaCalidia
My recollection of your posts is the same as Zanderat's. We're still waiting for an example of complex mods that Vortex cannot handle.
BigBizkit
Hi maredark3d, There's nothing wrong with expressing your viewpoint, that's what the Vortex discussion forum is for. That being said, it would always be preferable if you could provide examples for your claims/grievances, so we can better utilise your input to improve Vortex. You said Vortex cannot handle more complex mods: in what sense? Can you give us examples of such mods that Vortex cannot handle? You also said you don't find the tools Vortex has to handle load order management user friendly: why is that? What exactly don't you find to your liking and why? Is there anything that could be improved? I recall your issue being you trying to lock several mods in a mod index - which is not what you are supposed to do in the first place. Vortex utilises automatic load order sorting paired with custom rules - which should only rarely be necessary in the first place. Could you give us examples (your load order, for instance) that demonstrates why locking multiple mods in mod indices would be necessary? Thanks again for your input, don't be afraid to elaborate on it
