Scaaay
Hi, This is the first time I have tried to install mods, I have installed FNIS and installed the required mods via the Vortex however when I try to click 'play' on the Skyrim launcher, it doesn't play. I have removed the mod files from the folder and then it runs fine. Can anyone suggest what this is or help? This is the FNIS report below, and yes it is adult mods. Scaaay
Hey, I don't no. I've still not managed to figure it out? I watched the below video but still not working. When I go on the game, my character is in a T pose and no interface is there. I've opened SKSE and it prompted to install the original Skyrim which I'm doing now, followed all the steps in this video linked at the bottom but not working either. Please can somebody help? I've tried everything I can possibly find online but I can't appear to get this working at all.. Do I need to unzip the files? If anyone could write a step by step guide on how to do this via Vortex I'd appreciate it as it doesn't look like Mod Manager is doing the trick for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8mCZxuP8wk
HadToRegister
I've opened SKSE and it prompted to install the original Skyrim which I'm doing now, You're using Skyrim Special Edition, you should be using SKSE64. The reason SKSE is telling you to install Original Skyrim is because you're using the SKSE for Original Skyrim, instead of SKSE64
Daunlouded
when I try to click 'play' on the Skyrim launcher If you use SKSE64, start the game using skse64_loader.exe because running the game from launcher/Steam won't load SKSE64.

Hey, Thanks! But I'm getting 'Couldn't locate SkyrimSE.exe'. I've installed the version of SKSE64 advised, added it to the mod manager etc and FNIS is scanning everything fine - however when loading up the game, I'm also getting SkyUI Error Code 1. Any suggestions? I've followed every step in the video linked above which appears to have worked for most people in the comments :/
AugustaCalidia
@Scaaay however when loading up the game, I'm also getting SkyUI Error Code 1. What does the message say? Are you using SkyUI SE?

Also, make sure you're not running Vortex as Administrator Also, check your Skyrim SE folder, and tell me if you have a Folder inside it named something like "SKSE64_2_0_16" if you do, then you've followed the guide on converting SKSE64 to a mod wrong, if not, then tell me if you have things like Steam_Loader.dll, skse64_loader.exe et5c in your game root directory (Same directory your SKyrim.exe and SKyrimLauncher.exe are in)

FNIS scan is reporting no errors at all. However, when I'm in game, the OSA menu doesn't load up. I am holding down numpad > enter as requested, and have tried to hold down f8 to see if something comes up but it doesn't. This is the order in my MM: Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthfires.esmDragonborn.esmOSA.esmSkyUI_SE.esmFNIS.espXPMSE.espSOSRaceMenu.esp Sorry that i'm being a pain at this point, this is my first time installing a mod and I'm really confused at this point. SkyUI is working fine in-game, it's just the OSEX menu I can't get up. Thanks for all your help so far, really appreciate it.
