Skin textures for vanilla bodies?

I am very new to modding Skyrim, (as in, I started last night) and I have tried to find a prettier skin texture for females that doesn't require a body mod like CBBE or UNP. I really just don't like them and prefer vanilla bodies. Are there any that exist? If not, are there any walk-thrus for making that kind of thing? I use Bijin and Pandorable mods, but I want something for the rest of my females, too!

Whats your issue with CBBE or UNP Bodies? ("Dont like them" is a pretty lackluster answer)

 

If its about the shape you can change them.

For UNP there is Enhanced Character Edit (ECE) and RaceMenu which allows you to change your body to your liking

For CBBE, theres Bodyslide which lets you change quite literally anything you want (and dont want) and RaceMenu or ECE

 

If its about them being nude bodies: Theres a never nude version and some? most? skin textures also have a never nude texture that comes with them and there are seperate mods for custom underwear

If its about the shape you can change them.

My only real issue is that they require the skeleton mod, and it is very confusing. I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing when it comes to this, even with tutorial videos :/

They only require XPMSE if you want body physics. Otherwise they're essentially plug-and-play. CBBE even has a default/vanilla-shaped body option in the installer, with vanilla-style underwear.

I used a lot of the UNP textures with vanilla meshes, for quite a while, with no issues.

I use these two together, in this order:

Tempered Skin For Females - UNP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8505
Vanilla Body with UNP Textures https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20517

The latter mod should work with any skin textures made for UNP models---Bijin, Leyenda, and so on---or at least, I think so.

It will not work properly with CBBE. Let it override your body mods. Vanilla Body with UNP Textures is self-explanatory---it allows the female vanilla body to work with UNP skin textures.

If you choose to use Tempered Skin, make sure that you don't install the UNP body in the Fomod installer.
