Additional scrap cars! - Decorative

Ideally would want it inside a brick building that has high security or something - You clear it out and see a Highwayman that looks in better condition than the ones you see outside & curiosity draws you to it - Its interactable with a simple fetch & retrieve quest. Find 3 parts and then you can drive it out of there(Which will basically just spawn one in the outside world next to this building). I need to find the most suitable location for this.

So if the mod comes to being released before I have done that, the car will be going on the players driveway in sanctuary before an update adds the intended locaton.

But truth be told, with 'Driveable vanilla cars redux' you can spawn them in by building at a workshop.. so kinda defeats the object all together :laugh:

 

Note: I have noticed during my time in creation kit that the 'Back bay' Area cell is actually named 'Back bay car dealership' - but as far as I can tell, there is no such building (My thinking is that Bethesda intended to put this here, then didnt.)

 

This could be a potential location for more change - An adaptation to re-instate a Car dealership within the buildings OR modify the area to fit a new building in all together. Figured I would mention this as it is on the drawing board - Not a definate decision at this point in time though

Update: Added some colour variations of the post war Highwayman, I am also placing these baby's throughout the commonwealth now :cool:

Thanks, its only its in first Alpha stage currently - but yes now everybody can experience these two new models!

Will you consider adding the vanilla vehicles as a workshop add-on?

Yes, I know this mod does not currently include these vehicles as a workshop addon - But they will do by the 'Beta' release :cool:

It might be a bit too much but is there any way you could introduce some kind of progression.

For example, instead of having them all buildable straight out of the vault you have your cars unlock with magazines at your dealership. UFO after the encounter, Stingray after Arcjet with Danse, the cars on the 4 Hod Rod magazines when you collect those?

No need to stop, any suggestion is appreciated and this is what this topic is here for afterall.

These additions would be finishing touches - post beta release, I can imagine a few mods will be built off of the back of this one (As you say progressive stages towards building / using)
