Deleted74824358User
Will you be making a functional Highwayman that you can fast travel around in and store items in? Kinda like this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15994?tab=images. I have actually approached this mod author asking if they are interested in collaborating  I am currently waiting on a response back. [EDIT] First preview screen of the newest vehicle in production - The Chryslus Gran Destino - Edge Awesome! One last question. If you do get permission for a colab. Will you be giving it a pre-war look, like the current Highwayman mod, or an old rusted look like in Fallout 2? Will you be giving it a pre-war look, like the current Highwayman mod, or an old rusted look like in Fallout 2? Possibly both as the it should only be the task of changing the physical model. (So there would be an option depending on which the player prefers) But most likely, you will opt for this: [EDIT] Small update on the Gran Destino - Yes, this is a pickup. [EDIT 2] Final progress for today: More soon. - Edge Edited January 17, 2020 by EdgeUK90
EdgeUK90
Today's Progress, Added detailing, Rear bumper & underbody No Chassis rails or suspension yet) I think I am going to make this vehicle electric based - Like the Highwayman. Otherwise the Fission reactor will take up space in the loading bay area which wouldnt be logical for a pickup truck. [Edit] Further progress & First stages of postwar effect added. More soon. - Edge Edited January 19, 2020 by EdgeUK90
EdgeUK90
Today's Progress, Prewar state of the Chryslus Gran Destino now complete  More soon. - Edge

EdgeUK90
Ha! Well hopefully soon once 'ViciousCeph' is done with his latest adaptation of his 'Drivable Cars Redux / Morecars addon' You will be able to drive any of the new vehicles from Additional Scrap Cars - Including this one. Todays progress, Prewar state FINISHED!: This one has been considerably trickier to put ingame, however has taught me alot and will only produce better results for any future vehicles I create!- The quick but not necessarily correct method of vehicle insertion kept producing rendering errors for the Gran Destino (Visual bodywork deformations) therefore the only way for me to get this ingame is how Bethesda would have done so, A Direct export from 3ds max 2013. However, The geometry is perfect, the mesh finish is perfect & The Gran Destino even comes with its own custom collision! Hard work has certainly paid off here. A few color adaptations of this model, then I will be finishing the Post-War variant of both the Fusion Barracuda & The Chryslus Gran Destino. Once these are then placed throughout the commonwealth - I will release the next version of this mod. [Edit] Color options: More soon. - Edge Edited January 22, 2020 by EdgeUK90
HeyYou
The colors are even period-correct. :) We are going to need a 'body shop' workbench, so that we can restore the post-war wrecks to their pre-war glory. :D
Radsweeper
EdgeUK90, First off, bravo for you breathtaking work, both in 3d modelling creation and awesome graphic work. This all reminds me of one of my past favorite games, Mafia 2! Also, your creation of the dealership is spot on, as I always felt they were too small to showcase properly those cars! The Gran Destino has pleasantly surprised me by its looks and design and looks quite the part! If I may I have one suggestion that would fit the era and style: the Chrysler Norseman. If you can, read up on the sad fate of that gorgeous one-off car... Following this closely, if silently... EdgeUK90
Thank you, I feel with every new creation I am picking up new skills, modelling & texturing techniques to make a better end product for you - the user to experience & enjoy. I remember Mafia II! I also enjoyed the creations of this game very much so - And Mafia III. Yes the dealership was a must - That decision was influenced by the lack of a suitable establishment. (I was adding cars there and figured the building just was not adequate. I was also influenced by BGS Renders of their Chryslus Dealership - Check google images for reference.) The Norseman is a gorgeous vehicle - Thank you for the suggestion, I believe I will create this vehicle in the near future! -Edge
redrich
Gosh, the Gran Destino looks amazing as does Barracuda. Have you considered adding in some Greaser hotrods too? Like the one on the cover of the first issue of Hot Rodder? Or perhaps some of the other cars from Fallout 1/2, like the original coupe or one of the truck models? Other things worth looking at in terms of sports cars would be stuff like the Chevrolet Stingray Racer and Mako Shark. Be nice to see a class Corvette-like car.
