In the mean time you can fix the url to this: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1

and do your search from there. Or simply click the Advanced Search icon instead.

Why exactly "index.php?" got stripped from the form action url though I don't know.

please pardon my ignorance but i can't see how i can use that to search through s specific mod's posts. to search through all the general forums yeah, but not sure how that'll let me search say, Dragonborn museum mod?

No, it won't. That particular parameter's gone missing due to the defective form action url.

It can be given by URL parameter, like "&search_app=forums:forum:<topic-id>", but the page you'll get to then won't have search results yet, as you need to query a search from it first, and then it won't pass that parameter along, so you're back at square one.

So for this particular function, searching inside the current topic, it looks like you'll have to wait for the form action url to get fixed.

All else can still be done through Advanced Search in the mean time.

i see, thank you much. might you know an approximate time that this feature will be fixed? because as it is, it sorta reminds me of the destruction of the Great Library at Alexandria (well, the mod equivalent lol), which set back human knowledge irreparably. okay, joking. certainly not that dire.

but Nexus has many thousands of mods, each having innumerable posts. And within them, usually, is the answer to most any query...if ya can just search for it heh.

Any idea when this function may be fixed? thanks

I just called by due to the broken in forum search (within the Mod Comments) and see you've not yet managed to nail that gremlin.

Good luck! I'll use the Advanced Search for now.
