LOTS of "Download failed" errors

"Download Failed" errors continually popping up. Restarting Vortex will occasionally fix this problem, but it is recurring. using Vortex 1.1.5 on Windows 10, modding Skyrim SE. I have not tested to see if the same error occurs for other games. My connection is stable and speedtest.net shows me running over 200Mbps download locally with an 8ms ping. When trying to submit feedback about this in Vortex, I received a "Failed to send feedback" error - the details cite a 403 Forbidden <!DOCTYPE.html>. The only files I included were the network log and the vortex log. I tried uploading a screenshot of THAT error below, but the forum is giving me a 500 Internal Server error when I try to attach anything.

I'm having this same error, it's very irritating. I'm halfway through downloading a set of mods and I don't want to start playing until they are all installed, so now I have to wait for vortex to get its act together.

What do we have to do to make you understand it has nothing to do with Vortex but with the Nexus servers getting overloaded or being particularly slow because updates are being installed to the site. I'm primarily using NMM for mods and I have the same issues.

Yup, judging by the amount of threads being posted about this for the past few days, it's been going on since Christmas

Ahh, apologies for the multi-post then. I admit I didn't look much through the other threads for this, but that makes a lot of sense.

Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon. I have one mod I want to install for Fallout 4 before I do a certain quest, and then I want to start installing all my mods for Skyrim since I can't seem to transfer them from my old PC. But, so far every time I try I just get error messages. :(

It's not a Conspiracy, people go on holiday and Vacation around X-mess and New Years you know

 

You can work from home nowadays, it's not that hard. they shouldn't sell premium accounts if the site does not work. Every Premium purchased around that time should either get a few extra free days or be refunded, otherwise this is a massive scam

Another problem that one of the admins mentioned is that a LOT of people are on Break, from College, School, Work etc, and a LARGE amount of people are accessing the site at once over the holidays, which is putting a much larger load than normal on the servers.

 

Try being patient.
