Deleted54892532User
I have a boot drive C (SSD), a then a D drive of 2TB and an E drive of 5TB. The D Drive is slow and underperforms so I mostly use the E drive for most games. Issue is I put Fallout 4 on the D Drive, along with Vortex. But now I'm trying to get into playing Skyrim, which is on he E drive, and Vortex seems to take issue with working across drives with something about deployment methods. So what should I do here? HadToRegister
Your Mod Staging FOlder needs to be on the same drive as the game. So, go to the mod staging folder page in Vortex for the game that's on E and set it to E:\So for Fallout 4 on D:\ the path would be D:\ and for Skyrim it would be E:\You can do this on a per game basisVortex Basics
Deleted54892532User
Perfect, thanks. Edit: I get this problem on almost every mod I try to download now. But for some reason not every mod. SkyUI and CBBE (Trying out all top files mods) worked, but nothing else so far will download. (Edit: RaceMenu also worked, after saying it failed to download 4 times). Is this related? Or is Nexus's server just being toad today? I don't know. It'd be easier if it flat out didn't work, but it DOES sometimes work. It seems like if I just keep clicking download every time it fails it might eventually download. Which confuses me since if it was a file structure problem I wouldn't think it'd ever work at all. It feels more like a bad network problem. But I've never had this issue before, so it feels like a "Nexus server" problem... ? Download failed download failed download failed server interrupted link not validffs this makes me not want to bother anymore and stop trying to use Nexus or Vortex. It seems like DRM-like BS with Nexus is causing the problems because it's introducing errors connecting to the account.
Pickysaurus
The download problems are simply related to high traffic on the site.
