Vortex Button launching NMM, not Vortex.

So I'm trying to download a couple new mods for my Skyrim SE.

There ae download buttons for Vortex, and Manual.

Every time I click on the button for Vortex, it launches my NMM instead... but I can't download with that anymore, I want to download through Vortex.

So how do I make it download through Vortex and stop launching my NMM?

Yeah.

Thats aready checked, it was the first thing I looked at actualy.

I also found similar on NMM, and unchecked it.

Yet... the downloads on the website still default to NMM.

If you're using Chrome, be sure to turn that Chrome Switch on too.

You may have to start NMM and check to make sure it stayed unchecked, if it's still unchecked, you might have to

Start Vortex, Turn off the NXM handler switch.

Close Vortex

Open Vortex, Turn on the NXM handler switch

Close Vortex

Open Vortex.

Sometimes that switch gets stuck

Also, it sounds like you turned the switch off in NMM AFTER you turned the switch on in Vortex, which could be why the setting didn't 'take'

If you're using Firefox it hijacks your system preferences for web protocols (for no good reason I may add). You'll have to update the association in the Firefox settings.

It seems it was a combination of the switch needing to be turned off/on and the Associations in Firefox needing to be changed.

Looks like its all working correctly now!

Thanks guys!
