Mount & Blade : Warband won't launch anymore

Hi

I was playing Warband without any mods and it was OK.

Then I downloaded Vortex and saw that there were mods for Warband so wanted to try

but as soon as I downloaded them and try to launch the game on Steam, the wouldn't even start. I would click on the Play button on Steam, the button would turn blue for a second and then as if nothing happened, it would turn green again and nothing would appear.

Please help if you know anything about that.

Could you try disabling all your mods inside Vortex and see if the game starts? If it does you may have a bad mod installed.

I don't have any mod installed anymore

Do you have your Mod Staging folder on the same drive as your steam games?

I'm afraid I don't have a Mod Staging folder

It's possible there were some files left behind when you removed the mods. Try clicking "purge" on the mods tab of Vortex.

 

You may also want to verify the game files via Steam.
