I never get flu shots. They always work on me. I end up with the flu......

The silver lining then is: We won't be getting any more flu shots that only make us elderly sick. Our immune system has managed to survive because we breathed in several babies breath, the taste of youth in their heat for life, and the poisons which used to stir in our youth to keep that babies antibodies alive longer.

The crowd only worries those who fear the cloud of steam, rising from all the crowds of the youngers heads gathered along the stream walking to their work and back home again in their lives dream. Like the heated cloud seen when young men or women team when they get close to find out what the quarterback says.

As the world descends into panic and mayhem over the Coronavirus, it gives us an opportunity to fix some short sighted policies and practices that weaken us.

Production Diversity - We cannot continue outsource our world production of Antibiotics and other vital pharmaceuticals, Electronics and components to China. China itself cannot be trusted to deliver quality goods and are in fact an enemy of the free world (the Government not the people). The west has sacrificed economic security and the health of their people for short term gains. This cannot continue.

Globalization - The idea of globalization needs to die. Diversity is not a strength but weakens us. Just look at Europe. They have been on a steady decline as the EU experiment continues to fail them miserably. Terrorism, Disease and economic down turn are the fruits of the EU. It has failed and must be abandoned.

Self Reliance - Every nation must be prepared to become completely self reliant if needed. For some this may not be possible, however the closer to this goal they can attain the better off they will be. This includes military self reliance. The US cannot and should not be put into the position of being the world police.

Other than the the realizations I listed do you see a silver lining to the ongoing pandemic?

Stay healthy friends.

Soo, how's that working out so far?

Sure. The only place you are heading is corporate hell.

On the contrary. Everything that is going on now is to bring down the US in an effort by the globalists (who have seen many setbacks in recent years) to bring about a one world government and a real corporate hell. Leftists are destroying mom and pop small businesses which are the backbone of our economy for a sickness that claims less that 1% of the population.

They are trying hard but will still fail. America is not an economy. Its a people and we will reject tyranny and socialism always.

There is a loud ignorant and entitled group of , for the lack of a better word, losers who want everything handed to them. Thats not how life works. You can't have slave labor in China making your world for you forever. At some point the bill has to be paid.

There is no arguing with hate. But it makes me wonder who hurt you to make you this mad at people around you. No, no i actually don't care. But i do wonder why you would use what little time you have on this earth, to hate others.

No need to make this personal. I am talking about the big picture here.

To quote a misguided yet intelligent person: "Great minds discuss Ideas, Average minds discuss events, Small minds discuss people."

The challenge with making anything at home in an industrialized nation is the cost of labor. And for the record, "the cost of labor" can be considered a euphemism for "the cost of a human life". In industrialized nations, populations are declining and in several cases have dropped below the mathematical "replacement level", raising the value of each individual human life. Further, as populations in industrialized nations continue to age, the number of people able to work is declining faster than the population, further increasing the value of each person. So the abundance of low value bodies necessary for factory work must be obtained in nations which still have substantial and growing populations. And on this planet, that is several nations in Asia. Whether we like it or not, the planet needs the work force in Asia just to sustain it's industrial base, and that requires cooperation, or globalization.

No industrial nation can be truly self reliant any longer. Resources in most industrialized nations are quickly becoming scarce to non-existent. So critical resources must be imported from elsewhere. There are two historic methods to obtain resources from other nations. By force or by cooperation. Globalization is an alternative used by the industrial nations of the world to get and share resources from other nations by cooperation. Getting resources by force is no longer a truly viable alternative.

Finally, diversity is where new thinking, new ideas and new methods originate. The absence of diversity simply creates a monochromatic echo chamber where innovation ceases and progress stagnates. Diversity and the broader range of critical thinking it produces is exactly what is needed to solve some of the existing problems facing the planet and the people inhabiting it. We need more diversity and inclusiveness, not less.

Automation is the answer.

We do not need to do business with a slave using, organ harvesting fascist regime. But even if that was not possible, we could get by without China just fine but it will take time to undo the damage that the greed of globalists have done.

And I don't understand why you have brought up diversity. This has nothing to do with diversity.
