Vortex download speed is low even with fast internet

Here's my internet speed at the time of download:

My internet is working fine downloading everywhere else, but my Vortex downloads are incredibly slow. Looks like this:

I'm at a loss as to what to do. Any help? Thanks.

Is it the same for manual downloads on the site? If yes have you tried the steps outlined here? https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do

Thanks for the reply. I tried a manual download. It's better, but not by much; now it's along the range of 70-100 KB/s (sometimes goes down to 10 though)

Also, here's something interesting. I found out I was using an adblocker and turned it off, then my download speed increased by a small amount. I'm not sure if it's related or if it's just a coincidence but yeah. https://gyazo.com/604281137120226f9da152e36d3f1884

Non paying member who doesn't use an ad blocker = 2 mb/s download speed

Can you try both a large (500mb+) and a small file from the site, downloaded manually?

 

Have you tried switching your preferred download server?

Yep, I'm aware. The thing is, my download speed doesn't even peak at 1 MB/s. It peaks at ~30KB/s .
