kmcderm133
So I need to free up some hard drive space. Vortex stores my mod archives in directory after installing them. (I'm talking about the .rar files and such.) Are these files required to be there for the installed mod to function? If I can delete them without impairing the function of mods. How do I do this, and should I do this?

HadToRegister
You can delete the mod archives, however, if you uninstall any of your mods, you will then have to re-download the archive again in order to reinstall it.Your other option (if you have other hard drives with more space) is to use Vortex to move your DOWNLOAD folder to a different hard drive. kmcderm133
I'm on a laptop so I only have the one hard drive. That's also part of the problem. :D I have a 1TB drive, I'm trimming things where I can but I'm running out of space.
Guest deleted34304850
offload them to the cloud, or to a pen drive that you can remove -- there are options available to you.
