Trying to mod kingdom come deliverance. Errors

I am trying to mod my windows 10 version of kingdom come deliverance. First of all, the Vortex mod manager does not automatically find the file for the game, so i manually find it, but then there is a message.

i have tried giving it access. Another message pops up. Any ideas for how to fix this? :confused: :confused:

Is Kingdom Come Deliverance from the Xbox PC Game Pass membership by any chance?

If so, you can't mod ANY of those games because you won't have permission to access the folder even if you're an Admin on your computer

Yes it is on gamepass . That really blows, I actually OWN the game on xbox, too. Thanks for answering.

Yea, I found out the hard way too, when I was playing The Outer Worlds from Game Pass.. :/

Same with Subnautica and State of Decay 2

 

Too bad you weren't here about a month ago, the Epic Game Store was giving away Kingdom Come for Free.

I made sure to grab a copy, even though I already bought it on sale in steam for $14.99
