Can't Deploy Mods for Fallout 4 in Vortex.

This is my first time trying to mod any sort of game.

 

I have spent a good 5 hours trying to solve this issue to no avail, i've watched multiple videos about nexus and how to set it up. But none of them talked about not being able to deploy mods, and not being able to see the plugins in the plugins tab on vortex. I have Vortex installed on the same drive as Fallout 4, i have F4SE installed, and moved multiple different folders and files around, but nothing works. And i'm to tired to do any more troubleshooting.

I have clicked on that damned "Deploy" button idk how many times, but it doesn't work.

Can you try clicking the little bell in the top right of Vortex and see if there are any warning there?

No i couldn't, but thanks. For some reason not having internet yesterday fixed everything when vortex restarted, the plugins just showed up all of a sudden.

I know you mentioned moving folders, but I have to check anyway, because people have been moving folders using Windows Explorer rather than using Vortex.

 

You said you had VORTEX installed on the same drive as Fallout 4, however, Vortex will, by default put the Download and Mod Staging folder in the C:\users\<YOUR NAME>\appdata\roaming\Vortex folder

Go to SETTINGS, and check the MODS tab and see if your Mod Staging Folder path is on the same drive as Fallout 4 and check what the deployment method is, and what the path to your Mod Staging Folder is.

 

Make sure it's not inside the STEAM folder or your Game folder
