I've seen this effect referenced in a few posts in this thread but have not seen a picture yet or a difinitive answer on which speen it is.

The little green orb just orbits around the characters feet. Its not any of the spriggan effects as if have tried all of those.

Does anybody have any ideas?

So I've been trying to fix the Draugr Eye glitch following the steps in the OP. But its not working. I tried disabling the USP and tried the commands twice. I've also tried the bat cureall and that hasn't worked either. Can anyone help me please.

Nevermind, completing Alduins Bane quest has fixed the problem for me.

Hey.

I got this effect around my head. Obviously coming from a spriggan earth mother. I can't find a solution to remove this. The one ins this topic isn't working for me. Whenever I try removing the spell (xx013b75) the game claims 'Spell: Spriggan Earth Mother abilities not found in PlayerName'.. Any hints on this one?

Hi, I'm very thankful for this useful thread and beginning to understand how to deal with those unwanted magic effect bugs.

After reading more than half of the thread, I'm sure the bug my character have right now is somewhat the "conjured storm atronarch magic effect", because it show those characteristic: 1. it begins with the blue cloud orb surrounding my character plus electrical discharge, but without purple smoke (the same type you will see when you conjure a creature); 2.then effect went off after a while and my character became permanently transparent (just like when a conjured creature dies/expires).

I believe the "addspell" and "removespell" will do the trick, only if I know how to find that Magic_effect_id associated to it...Some help please?

I admit I haven't searched through this entire thread, but given the shear amount of pages... I haven't found another instance of this effect after about an hour of searching. If anyone knows the name (the ID would be amazing), i would very much appreciate the help. I have a sort of blue-almost-purple vortex thingy that goes out about ten feet from my character. It looks like a shout got stuck on, and it showed up after i canceled a charged spell. It makes the game almost unplayable, and I (very stupidly) last saved hours ago.

I've got a strange problem. It seems to be very similar to the red draugr eyes but this also puts a slight red glow around your mouth. I've tried the draugr fix already, didn't work. I think it's related to the corrupted shade effects as they have red eyes and mouths.

ATTENTION: I have created a definitive bugfix for the lingering Wispmother shader effect.

My bugfix fixes two buggy scripts and makes the shader effect stop playing when the magic effect is dispelled.

INSTRUCTIONS:

- download the "_bugfix_wispactorcript.rar" file attached to the bottom of this post.

- extract the fixed scripts from "_bugfix_wispactorcript.rar" to your Skyrim folder.

- if you are using thefirewarriors "wispfix.esp", please delete it from your Skyrim DATA folder.

- start Skyrim and load your problem savegame.

- In third person, open the console and enter "player.addspell 8CC8C" [don't type the quotes]

- Close the console

- Open the console again and enter "player.removespell 8CC8C" [don't type the quotes]

- Close the console.

- FIXED

AbWisp: 8CC8C

AbWispShade: F1184
