jhncanson
For me, The strongest artifact is the Mehrune's Razor. Its effect is a great combination with its swing speed specially with Slow Time shout. Even the toughest boss will bow down. I just killed a Dwemer Centaurion Master within 6 slashes. It was so overwhelming that a full HP master centaurion just went down like it had a heart attack. I bet if i ever have a chance to duel daedric prince's they would bow down to my razor even mehrunes dagon himself. Given that they will be vulnerable to my attacks. Shunsei
Each Deadric artifact has its pros and cons. I hate having to choose one Daedric Artifact out of them all so rather than choose my favorite one, I make sets that are good for different situations, for example: When I'm up against a Arch-Mage I like to use the Spellbreaker and Dawnbreaker and Dawnbreaker especially against Necromancers, When I need to assassinate somebody I use Mehrunes Razor etc... bjeet
Mehrune's Razor is useful if you are the assassin type. I also like Mask of Clavicus Vile for stylistic reason.
Hyacathusarullistad
]Dawnbreaker is the only Daedric artifact I've ever found I'm interested in using regularly. Even Azura's star I end up stashing somewhere once my Enchanting reaches 100 and my primary armours are enchanted.
jhncanson
The only daedric artifacts i have atm are Auriel's Bow, Dawnbreaker, and Mehrune's Razor. Im playing slowly atm, trying to make the best out of everything.

You should obtain more Daedric Artifacts to find Strengths and Weaknesses of all of them and become even more powerful.

I do have all of the daedric artifact on my other save game, thats the point why im playing this time more slowly.
Brandy1123
The problem with Daedric artifacts is they really are horrible. Even Bethesda can't keep their models consistent. If the Daedric lords can alter the shape and style of their beloved artifacts (as bethesda indicates with the ebony blade), then why won't the Lords create and artifact you can actually use. If your primary weapon skill is a bow, then make the artifact a bow, it its a 2 handed sword, then likewise. The idea of Bethesda changing the artifacts between ES games and calling anything lore is ridiculous. My first thought would be for the Razor. However, anything high enough level where you need it, will more then likely resist its effects. Now, using the disenchant mod and taking the Daedric ability and applying it to a choice and upgradeable weapon, I think Dawnbreaker for old ruin crawls and Azura's Black star for all things enchanting. If you just plan on vanilla items, I go with the star. Everything else (minus a staff) can be far better then the Daedric garbage

I also like Mask of Clavicus Vile for stylistic reason. not exactly, if im an assassin.. i would go for a dagger which deals higher damage, the mehrunes razor doesnt have that much damage because of its OP effect. Its only useful against bosses as i said.. use iit with Slow Time shout and just hit your enemy until the effect kicks in. Most lords probably wouldn't give a damn, you're lucky enough to receive the artifact in the first place as far as they see it.
