Vortex.exe is gone.

I played Skyrim yesterday and then I turned of my computer. When I sat down to play now the vortex.exe file is gone???? vortex files all says that they where changed yesterday.

 

Any ideas???

Please try reinstalling the latest version of Vortex. Sometimes poorly programmed anti-virus apps will silently delete the EXE for Vortex.

I reinstalled it now. I only use windows sec.

FYI it happen again today. I think I'll be going back to MO

Switching to MO won't make a difference here. Something on your PC keeps deleting the Vortex EXE file. It's almost definitely your AV, which one do you use?

Windows "Security", do you mean Windows Defender?

 

If so, there have been problems with it, you need to turn off "Controlled Folder Access", because if this was a common thing, EVERYBODY would be complaining about it, not just you.

yes. I've never had problems with MO. I just tried vortex to see how it was.
