AugustaCalidia
How the hell can i install Vortex on my E: drive where i have my Steam FILES?and large hard drive space ??? keeeps telling me it will not wrk sice this s*** has to be on the same harddrive yet i DO not have the option to install it on my e drive f***ing bulls*** Download and install the Vortex custom installer and not the one-click installer. That being said, Vortex does not need to be on the same drive as your game and your mod staging folder. However, your game and mod staging folder need to be on the same drive (a Windows hardlink requirement). Solution Tannin42 Posted July 17, 2020 Solution Share Posted July 17, 2020 Wait wait wait. For you to run skyrim from your e drive, the vortex staging folder has to be on e.It doesn't matter where the Vortex application itself is installed! No matter how you installed Vortex you can change the staging folder location inside Vortex at any time.Where Vortex itself is installed is completely irrelevant for all intents and purposes, it really just affects where the Vortex application itself occupies ~300MB of disk space.
