It's not about equality, I'm merely saying that the amount of screenshots constantly added to the sites, while nice... why not limit the amount of screenshots that are allowed to be uploaded per user?

Why limit them?

Do you know for a fact that the screenshots are what's causing the lags and timeout of the nexus?

Maybe those people upload screenshots because they feel that that's THEIR contribution to the community.

I totally support what the Nexus does and what you stand for. Thank you Nexus!

I didn't even know this site -has- ads until this article. Added Nexus to my blocker's whitelist so the ads show now. Also going to upgrade my membership to help support the site.

I was simply stating that the site should prioritize based on membership, supporter, number of endorsements to uploaded mods etc.. so that the people that truly do support this sight are benefited with better site performance during high load

We get uncapped download bandwidth and no ads.

I consider THAT the biggest benefit of my lifetime membership.

We can only guess what causes the high load, myself I attribute it to the time of day I'm on the Nexus.

If I'm home and getting ready for bed, and the Nexus starts slowing down, I assume that somewhere on the globe, is the premium time for a different country and time zone to flood the nexus.

I'm a lifetime member, but I don't like where this thread is headed.

I'm getting an 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others' vibe :/

The site (when it lags) is now being blamed on 'freeloaders' who just upload screenshots?

Nor I, there's a "them" and "us" thing going on here and it isn't pleasant. As for screenshots, are there ads on those pages? if so then they're generating income.

I'm glad for you saving 10 seconds on a download but do you realize in your last post you disagree and then prove my point!

"Nexus starts slowing down... I assume that somewhere on the globe, is the premuim time for a different country and time zone to FLOOD nexus."

My point exact..

how many of that flood are helping this site and how many are free-loaders bogging it down for the supporters

I think this incentive system is good. It is balanced, doesn't unfairly reward people, and helps to pump the endorsement system, which is under-utilized. It isn't perfect, but it is an improvement. Edited by Seijin8

I do try to look over my mod list and endorse the mods I find exceptional, but there are many others that are also worthy of endorsement but were removed from NMM because they conflicted with whatever "mods build" I moved on to. Without a Premium account to access the complete download history, those mods become quickly forgotten. Are there any plans to mirror the Premium-only complete download history with a yet-to-endorse list where entries are removed once you either abstain or endorse? Or is there concern that it would be misused to allow a complete download history for non-Premium?

If I read the post right, downloads from over a month ago have no bearing on this month's download speed, but a complete yet-to-endorse list might significantly improve the download to endorsement ratio.
