AnuuCheekiBreeki Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I installed the "Weaponsmith Extended (v2)" mod with the Vortex Mod Manager. I can build a Weaponsmith Workbench and place it, but when I try to use it, it doesn't work, it doesn't open a crafting menu, nothing happens. Vortex Mod Manager shows that the "Weaponsmith Extended.esp" file is missing. Mind that a "Weaponsmith Extended 2.esp" file exists on my PC. I tried a lot of things, including reinstalling the mod, but nothing helped. Is the file named incorrectly or is there another problem?
HadToRegister Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Have you tried renaming "Weaponsmith Extended 2.esp" to "Weaponsmith Extended.esp" ?That's the first thing I would've tried.Sometimes mod makers change the name of their esps, and mess up everybody's game, usually by accident

AnuuCheekiBreeki Posted September 16, 2020 Author Posted September 16, 2020 I renamed the file "Weaponsmith Extended 2" to "Weaponsmith Extended", but then other mods couldn't find Weaponsmith Extended 2". (duh) So what I did next was to make a copy of "Weaponsmith Extended 2" and rename it to "Weaponsmith Extended". So there are two files. Now the "missing masters" warning is gone, but I still can't use the Weaponsmith Workbench in game. (Somewhow there's a problem with editing messages)
