kinshuk2
I decided to use Vortex because it's been around a year since I've ever heard of it and it seemed to have gotten quite a few updates. Though legit as soon as I downloaded it and tried to open it, it starts giving me this message about "Admin Rights Detected" and I've also seen tons of other ppl having problems with the program. Should I even use it? If not what should I use to mod skyrim?

Zanderat
OP is having UAC issues and is blaming VOrtex?
Berzus
I'm pretty sure you aren't meant to use Vortex with admin rights, so make sure you aren't running it in administrator mode. Other than that, you'll have to see for yourself. The quality of modding support may vary from game to game, but it's perfectly fine for skyrim in my experience, although you'll have to learn how Vortex works. Guest deleted34304850
i'd also add, if there are "tons" of people having this problem, then their problem has been resolved "tons" of times, so why didn't the OP read one of these "tons" of resolutions and correct their issue?Asking for a friend.
