Skyrim SE: not all mods work (installed with Vortex)

Hi there,

I installed three mods to Skyrim SE today. I went through the same process with all three of them. SkyUI and A Quality World Map work just fine, whilst Immersive HUD does not. It is installed and enabled. I clicked "deploy all mods" after installing. Under deployment method in the settings it says "hardlink deployment". my mod and game folders are on the same drive.

I attached pictures of my Vortex profile below.

I had the same problem earlier this year when I installed maybe 12 mods to Fallout 4. At least 1/3 of them did not work, just like IHud doesn't. I really don't have any idea what I'm doing wrong, especially since it applies only to some mods and not to others.

Any ideas?

Edit: I realise now, this probably should've gone into the support section.

Curious as to why your load order column has ? in it for the three mods you installed, instead of numbers

Also, which column are you using to sort your esp display?

It's not sorted by Load Order, Mod Index, Name, or Group...

I'm surprised iHud even still works, it was last updated in 2017, I would think it wouldn't even work with the newest SKSE64, but apparently it does.

Also read the first couple of pages of IHud comments. What people did to solve similar problems may help.

When I test things like this, I usually open the console before loading a save. "coc qasmoke" to get to the test cell.

See if IHud works there. That eliminates the save as part of the problem.

So I just opened Vortex to check how my plugins were sorted and it seemed that iHud was disabled. I enabled it and now the mod works. This is strange, you can even see on my screenshot that it said "enabled" when it was not working. I have it sorted by load order now. Maybe that "?" in the load order column had something to do with why it was not working.

I knew iHud still had to work, since I am following Gopher's current Let's Play series and he's still using it there.

Edit: I guess the save was an unlikely source for problems, since it was from an entirely vanilla playthrough.
