maximuminfinite
Rather than make a post of the length in reading of reasons some major skyrim se mods that were hidden recently, I will keep this short. There needs to be an addendum to the current permission or license structure that prevents hiding mods due to a minority of users that make complaints. There should be a notice to mod authors about how to handle situations about repetitive issues that some users may make for them. A way to not punish everyone whilst respecting the mod author and to keep the site free of drama that ruins the modding community. The whole modding community should not be penalized for a lack of conduct stipulated by an author that is not promoted visibly on the site. Ex how you should phrase a question or what not to ask? If that is the case should be a disclaimer each time you enter the site or mod page, as it is a safe bet very little people read tos and such word for word. I am not going to reply to this post or clarify. Rather I will let the nexus staff decide the implications of this.

I'm reassured to know that Nexus Mods will not be taking your advice because they realistically can't unless they feel like shooting themselves in the foot. If Nexus Mods changed the ToS to forbid mod authors from hiding their mods, the only thing that would accomplish is to piss off many mod authors. And then many would just delete their mods from the site and take their work elsewhere. I am not going to reply to this post or clarify. gnarly1
<snippity>What Reneer said covers it pretty succinctly. What you're proposing is impractical, unworkable and I'd venture it's invasive too.
Pickysaurus
Seeing as you have no intent to reply to the discussion, I see no point in leaving the topic open. I know the issue you're referring to and we'll be looking into exactly what went on.
