Freedom Of Art?

Good afternoon to all that can help inform me with my question,

That question being asked with respect, is since the election has been decided does that mean that the ban on mods deemed political harassment will be lifted? It's just upsetting that some users are forced to sit by and watch as their own mods or mods they love are removed.

Respectfully,

Your post is titled "Freedom of Art", yet the mods that were removed were designed to be low-IQ troll mods by low-IQ cowards who uploaded using sock puppet accounts. Do you consider that to be "art"? I mean, I know art is entirely subjective, but really? Low quality, low IQ mods are what you miss, and not the thousands of high quality mods that are crafted and maintained by dedicated people for your enjoyment?

Are those really the mods you "love"?

we really don't need the political mods honestly. They are just there to antagonize people most of the time. It's one thing to make a mod that makes all the presidents companions in Fallout, it's another to just make the current one and meme the hell out of your page.

A "political" mod? Anathema sit! I'm so sick of seemingly everything being politicized that I could scream! Nexus Mods genuinely strives to be a community, not a collection of brawling factions. "Political" mods are not conducive to community.

@1ae0bfb8 and too everyone else thank you for your heart felt comments they are most interesting. However to respond to @1ae0bfb8 my response to "do I love the political mods themselves" NO, but I love the freedom of being able to pick mods freely, which is what I perceive nexus as being in the not so long ago past. Mine and no one else's run though of Fallout 4 (the game I play for world building and lore) is entirely political, that just sounds crazy. I'm not vouching for any political party I'm with you all or at least most of you (I think) when it comes to politics, and that's I'm sick and tired of them. However some mods I used for roleplaying and just in general having fun have been removed and classified as "political" and that's what's upsetting to me. I was more or less interested if anyone else felt the same way Edited by anclave115

There is a terms of service that you agree to, when you sign up. I suggest you read it closely. Your "freedom" has not been impinged. Every mod is subject to terms and conditions, just as every user. The terms and conditions are fluid, as they are on pretty much every internet site out there.

There are other mod platforms where everything from troll mods uploaded by cowards and everything in between are tolerated. Go there, and fill your boots and luxuriate in your "freedom of art".
