Bandit320 Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 I recently got an ssd so i moved my steam library to it and now vortex cant find the games, ive tried reinstalling everything and removed all mods and yes i have launched the game first before opening vortex and i have changed the scan locations and i set fallout 4 to be on my hhd and skyrim se on the ssd and cant find either and yes my vortex is up to date. HadToRegister Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 So, have you gone to the GAMES tab, in Vortex and looked at the MANAGED and UNMANAGED section, and looked to see if your game shows up in Color on the Unmanaged tab?If the game shows up in Color in the Unamanaged Tab, then click on the MANAGE button that shows up when you mouse over it. Pickysaurus Posted November 15, 2020 Share Posted November 15, 2020 You can simply click on the game tile and point Vortex to the folder containing the EXE file. That'll set it up without requiring detection. It should be noted, however that having your games installed to Program Files may cause weird problems with modding later on.
