HadToRegister
Yes, I have a laptop to which I mirror my Skyrim & Vortex installations, but it is quite behind at this point. I don't modify the setup there manually, just mirror changes. I haven't updated it because I'm saving it as a "fallback" while I make some major changes to my primary PC. So, it'll be a while before I can test that aspect. The configuration is older than the problems I am experiencing. Also, consider the gravity of installing 1,400 mods from scratch. It would take weeks if not months to duplicate the build that way with all of the custom patching involved and sort times of 1 hour 30 minutes each. I think you're being a pioneer in finding out the breaking point of Vortex with the sheer number of mods you're using, at this point. You're the Chuck Yeager of Vortex. Guest deleted34304850
what if you simply take your disk out and insert it into the other system and go from there? or do a disk clone to a spare - purely to see if you've got a local issue? nt5raham
Hardware incompatibility, different types of SSD interfaces between desktop and laptop. Plus my installation is huge, approaching 700GB, and I don't happen to have a spare 1TB SSD laying around.

HTR, you're a master of analogy! In Wikipedia I read that Yeager flew with two broken ribs when he broke the sound barrier in 1947. What would that correspond to in this case?
