turlas47 Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Just got a new, upgraded computer and I'm so exited to play my games on higher settings! Got MHW installed and it looks great, but for some reason, none of my mods that I downloaded to this PC are working. I have Nexus mod manager installed, mods are downloaded and enabled, but in-game, none of them activate. I don't remember having this issue before. I was on an old windows 8.1 laptop and the moment i installed a mod on that, it worked, but not my new windows 10 pc. Anyone else run into this issue? Let me know what information I should post if it would help. Thank you!

All I had to do on my old 8.1 was download, install, and enable the mod. I never had to "deploy" them, they just worked. Now, it just doesn't on this new PC. Am I screwed?
turlas47 Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 Welp, resorted to manually installing everything...pain in the ass, but, at least its working. Perhaps this is something Nexus should look into? Really don't know. But, Vortex is now useless to me. Oh well.

I went over each one and clicked "deploy", but nothing. As i said before, in Windows 8.1, I NEVER had to press deploy, always did it automatically. Anyway, thank you, but, this didn't help either.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted November 26, 2020 Community Manager Posted November 26, 2020 Were you able to verify the mods did actually get deployed (Open -> Open Game Mods Folder). If the files did not appear that means you had a deployment issue and Vortex probably has a notification under the bell icon you have missed.
