Schlumpsha
That fan art depicts the Kroot race from Warhammer 40K. Describing them as a mix between Predators and Argonians without tails is actually pretty accurate. ;) If you're more inclined for something heavier than leather, how about headwear made with ancient amber? This material should be rather durable and protective to boot. A bark helmet hardened with the resin of the Hist could thematically also work. Derok
I think I should make an Hist sap armor as a separate sap, could be an heavy armor perhaps, seems like a cool idea. But I don't like much armors made of strange materials like glass (malachite?) or stahlrim that look too colorful and ugly, so I have to think about it.I also don't want armors that are too similar to existing ones that's why I'm avoiding chitin and bone. Boombro
Chitin boots and arms if re textured can be used. For the heads, it all about the armor theme. If it tribal, maybe bone or shell. If from the capital, it can look kind of imperial. Some concept art showed some of them wearing hoods.
Danidragon
Well, the thing after leather I think is studded or hardened leather . Otherwise,Amber is an actual material in Oblivion's Shivering Isles DLC . Ivory or chitin does the job too .
FreedomInMoonlight
Sap hardened bark armor I think would likely be darker in color than regular bark with a orange tint. Darker color making it look soaked in sap and orange tint showing the substance it was actually soaked in. Secondarily the Argonians have a mayan tribal motif going on and its possible to use that motif without overdoing it its all about the subtlety. Subtle patterns in leather made from native creatures mostly scaly or feathered from what I have seen. And only an occasional feather would be better than simply puking that motif over everything. I honestly think mages of any race or motif will have peacockish taste in style where armor is concerned with lots of showy things like gems or colorful feathers. While warriors archers and other people would have a more practical taste. Honestly practical armor does not need much in the way of beautification. Secondarily the motif in ESO was skimpy eluding back to the fact that they went for hundreds upon hundreds of year without wearing any armor at all because it got in the way. Their armor in all cases considering the motif and the place they are in would be practically minimalistic. They would cut off armor where it wasn't needed to protect them. Likely on the back inner arms strips along their sides they would have thinner armor and with much less armor on their lower body and belly with armored skirts or shorts being more practical in the marsh. Foot armor would be nigh non existent in that environment. Considering the marshes here and the one or two times I actually went in there I ended up losing my shoes anyway it'd be pointless to wear them in that environment because they seriously get in the way. Used to be a common malady for soldiers in swampy environments they would get this nasty disease that literally ate away at their feet till there was nothing left to save because they were wearing boots not made for the environment. Drohung
Here's a good read. Anyone want to know another reason I love the Skyrim modding community? http://kotaku.com/skyrim-modders-help-man-who-says-hes-grieving-his-broth-1691099694
FreedomInMoonlight
Aww that is so sweet reminds me of the Skyrim fishing mod someone made for someone they loved that died. Now if only youtube would get that not all of the modding community is only interested in pr0n mods. Cannot watch Brodual's awesome reviews without that poop in my recommendations. Either way I love it when people do things like this it shows that not everyone on the internet is an arse. That person has my full appreciation for what they did. I just hope that people start to handle these kinds of things better its sad when a loved one dies but its disgusting to have their account turned into a spambot or something. People don't seem to recognize virtual property for being property. Those people need to grow up and realize its property not just a work tool or resource. Thanks Drohung you made my day with that post.

Thanks Drohung you made my day with that post.Always nice to make someone's day! After the siege in DnD tomorrow and hopefully saving my character, I'll be trying to make my Skyrim work right again. Derok
Drohung I suggest disabling all mods, then enabling one at time to find the cause. Also does the crash occur on new saves?I also know a way to save saves with papyrus scripts that cause bloating or errors. If the crash is when game starts, you don't have a required esm for another mod. Drohung
The crash was being caused by Sneak Tools overloading my RAM. I'm running about 180 mods, most scripts, and Sneak Tools put it too much over the edge.
