SaltyMatsuyama
I've just installed vortex and have added all my mods that I previously had installed on NMM onto it ,but every time I try to deploy any of the mods they're labelled as redundant. To my knowledge a mod is considered redundant when a other mod is overwriting it ,but I literally have one mod installed and all the others are uninstalled and I'm still getting this message. I don't understand why or how this is happening. I just started to install my mods one by one so there is no way for this mod to be redundant when It is the only mod installed. HadToRegister
So you uninstalled all of the mods you had installed, by using NMM to uninstall those mods first? Correct? And now you're trying to install mods with vortex and vortex says any mod you install with Vortex is redundant
Pickysaurus
A mod can also appear redundant if no files get deployed for it. Looks at your errors that may be the case.
rmm200
Typical cases:1) You responded to conflicts with Use New, when the "New" reflected Deleted. All of your mods are now gone, and will require the "Reinstall" dropdown. Check with "See in Folder" dropdown.2) You manually moved your game directory without doing "Purge" first. Your game directory now includes actual copies of all your mods, and must be manually cleaned / reinstalled.3) You messed up the order in Import from NMM. "Purge" in Vortex, clean up any trash left in the game directory by NMM (See 2), and Deploy.
