Vortex manager does not work with pirated Fallout 4

My fallout 4 game directory is: D:\Fallout 4 My staging directory is D:\Vortex Mods\fallout4. Nexus shows NO error messages. The mods are shown in the game menu. But as I start the game it has normal start. Sliders were not activated. Skin replacers were not activated and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. /Perks modes were not activated.

I am pretty sure I screwed up somewhere. Question is - where?

Thanks

Yes. No room on my C drive. Everything is installed onto D. The game and the staging folder. Oh, the texture replacements for army uniforms do not work either. The game itself shows that mods are there, when you select "modifications" from the main menu, |but they do not work, I already got to being frozen and so far - no indication that ANY mods work. Vortex does not show any errors or conflicts. Game does not crash.

first off, the title of this thread is simply wrong - vortex works brilliantly with fallout 4.

i have to ask - are you using the in-game mod interface as well as vortex? from reading your posts, you are using it as some sort of verification that a mod is installed?

I used vortex to install the mods. Vortex shows mods as active, and NO conflicts. My version of the game, when you go to the main menu (press Escape), has a selection called "Modifications". Which shows the mods there.
