chase2289
Okay, so I have skyrim mods working perfectly. I use vortex and every mod that I have gotten from nexus works perfect. Except mods I get from loverslab and manually extract to my vortex application. They download but then the game will crash. I want to use the animations from this site so badly. Sexlab was the only mod to work. I have been trying with he others and they always crash the game upon the load screen. (As a side note, not knowing if this may matter, since I installed the game, it will only launch through skse it has never worked with me when trying to launch through steam, though the problem now is it crashes with skse after installing some sexlab mods. I will include some mods I have tried and that have crashed the game, though they will be the ones grayed out.
rmm200
It does not matter where you get your mods - Vortex handles them all. Skyrim LE mods, by and general, will not work on Skyrim SE.Make sure the mod you download says it is for Skyrim SE.Any Skyrim (LE or SE) animations you want to use will also require FNIS. Sexlab Animation Loader is pretty much required also. This is really not related to Vortex. You might get more information on the Skyrim forums. Looking at your screenshot again - you might be running Skyrim LE.Just reverse what I said - Skyrim SE mods will definitely not work on Skyrim LE.You still need SKSE, FNIS, and SLAM. Mods that need SKSE (like Sexlab) always require the game to be launched by SKSE.And look into getting Skyrim SE on sale. Reliability improvements alone are worth the cost. Pickysaurus
Check the plugins tab for any warnings in the "flags" column. This would tell you if the plugin (and by extension the mod) is intended for a different version of the game.
