I'm having trouble setting up Cyberpunk. This is my 1st time using Vortex too. I have set up Cyber Engine Tweaks manually with a few scripts. I decided to check out Vortex and I'm having some trouble.

My Cyberpunk path is set to:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077

Under If I click "Open in File Manager it takes me here:
AppData\Roaming\Vortex\cyberpunk2077\mods\

I'm at a loss here what am I doing wrong?

Why are you clicking on "Open in FIle Manager"?

That takes you to the Mod Staging Folder where Vortex installs the mods, then makes the hardlinks to the game directory.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Why are you poking around in the Mod Staging folder?

Install mods using Vortex... Because I thought that it would take me to the installed folder of that mod...

It does, but there's no need to go in the Mod Staging Folder and poke around.

Aren't you using Vortex to install the mods, or are you installing them manually?

I didn't know that... SORRY!!! Not like it hurts anything, no need to make a big deal about it. No, I wouldn't be here asking for help if that was the case. When I download mods using Vortex nothing actually gets installed. I have checked the directory and nothing. Status is set to Enabled.

All I did was ask, because poking around in the Mod Staging Folder can screw up your install.

Opening won't hurt a thing. No need to bring it more than once. I guess I will go back to manual.

If Vortex isn't giving you any notifications about deployment problems then it's very likely the mods you're trying to install are just packed badly. This means that when Vortex tries to install them it places the files in the wrong place.
