The Voice Actors of Skyrim (Nexus)

Hi! I'm looking for two voice actors/ actressess to fill a couple of roles for an upcoming quest, Darkest Awakening, in my custom-voiced companion mod, Aurlyn Dawnstone, which can be found here:

http://aurlyndawnstone.blogspot.com/

Closed, both positions filled.

The first role is rather minor, and only spans a few lines. Here, you'll play the part of a Thalmor Commander, and must reflect appropriate haughtiness and hostility; gender and age are irrelevent. Since there's not enough lines for an audition, feel free to voice these lines in their entirety, and send them to me via PM/ e-mail. I would be most appreciative, and as always, full credit will be given. Here, take a look:

(Started: Darkest Awakenings – Search Fort Raldur)

(The pair travel to Fort Raldur, and fight through a garrison of Thalmor Soldiers and Wizards. After reaching the Commander's Quarters, they find a Thalmor Commander waiting for them there)

Thalmor Commander: How dare you slaughter my soldiers and invade my fort! The Dominion will make you pay dearly for this injustice!

Player: You attacked my companion first.

Thalmor Commander: You have the audacity to hurl baseless accusations against me? One more word, and I'll have your head!

Player: So this Dunmer agent we killed wasn't one of your men?

Thalmor Commander: A Dunmer agent, you say? Certainly not! We have been hunting someone that fits your description of this man though. He's caused us great deal of trouble by impersonating a Thalmor Justicar, and questioning people from all around the province. Last I heard, he was holed up in some cave in Solstheim but the Thalmor will root him out soon enough. Now, get out of my fort and never return!

The second role is rather delicate, and requires a light touch. Here, you shall step into the shoes of the Nerevarine, and evoke the wisdom of the ages, as well as the weight that all heroes must carry, yet also portray a Dunmer accent, as well as a sinister touch. This role requires a male voice, and ranges from minor, to huge depending on how much I feel like expanding on his character after Darkest Awakening is completed, and thus, you must be prepared to record upwards of 1,000 lines of dialogue as we go along, yet for now, he only has around 20 to 30 lines. This role is also quite pivotal, so I would prefer if this position was filled first. Here are the audition lines, feel free to record them and send them to me via PM/ e-mail. I would be eternally grateful, and would be more than happy to give you full credit for this. Here, take a look:

Nerevarine: The second emissary returns, and takes their place beside the third. Welcome, Dragonborn. I am less than pleased to see your companion here, but I shall do my best to be a good host all the same. Now, I am sure you have a lot of questions. Ask away, and when we are done, perhaps you shall have a greater understanding of the situation at hand.

Player: Why did you attack us?

Nerevarine: I did not, as I am sure you already know. It was your companion here who made the first move, and set in chain a series of events that can never be undone. But perhaps they can be mitigated, to some extent.

Player: What events?

Nerevarine: Ahh... Yes. I'm getting ahead of myself, but know this: The three of us are here today, not by chance or choice, but by the hand of fate. Soon, each one of us will stand at the brink of the abyss with a pivotal role to play. One shall stand as Dusk, and preserve the melody that lulls all to endless sleep. The other shall stand as Dawn, and bring an end to Night. And the third? They are they grey maybe, and can both create and destroy. But you shall see that for yourself soon enough.

Player: Does this prophecy mean that the world will soon come to an end?

Nerevarine: This world is already lost. War sweeps across all of Tamriel, dragons roam the skies, burning all in their path and the towers are failing. Yet even now, there is a glimmer of hope. We can persevere, recreate and rebuild what was once lost.

Player: How?

Nerevarine: With help from beyond the veil. I... I am not from this realm, but I am now of it; shaped by my experiences here. Yet I can still bring a spark from the beyond, a single piece of knowledge that can be our only redemption.

Player: It's you then! You seek to control what you never could understand. You are the one who will bring Dusk, and the fall of endless night!

Nerevarine: You know not of what you speak, but yes; I will do what I believe is right. Alone, I could never use this power. The other one, your companion Aurlyn, she will help me achieve my goals. Now, I'm afraid I must leave you, for I still have a final task I must attend to.

Not sure if this is the right place to post requests, but I was told to post this here to reach a broader audience. Sorry if it doesn't belong here.

So, I've gotten a lot of interest from people wanting to do some voice acting for my Skyrim mods, Here There Be Monsters and Here There Be Monsters: Call of Cthulhu. This is an open invitation to anybody who is interested in helping out! I do not have the equipment or software to do this kind of recording myself (and it'd be silly if every character had my voice) so I am opening this up to anybody with the ability and "talent" (talent in quotation marks :-D ) to do this sort of thing.

I have transcribed all of the dialogue in a google spreadsheet arranged by character. For those of you who have no experience in modding, basically all I need is a WAV file of each individual line of dialogue. I have the required file names in the spreadsheet (the creation kit decides what each file must be named for you); all you have to do is record and save it under that name. Simple as that. If you know anything about audio editing and can clean up the recording, that would be a huge help too. If you're interested, please check it out and decide what characters you want to voice. If you're not familiar with the mod, take a look at my mod pages. I know that may seem like a lot to ask, but there are people who do this all the time and have offered, so if you'd like to help I would definitely appreciate it!

I'll keep everything on a first-come basis, but if there's a lot of interest in certain characters I guess we can do some kind of auditions? I'm not really expecting that many volunteers, but who knows. If you're interested, please check it out! (Message me too, so I can keep track of everyone.) I wasn't even going to try to tackle voice acting for this, but hell if enough people are willing to pitch in then let's do it! Thank you all for your continued interest!

(And just to clarify, I will not be paying anybody for this. This is purely a volunteer project. I never ask for money for my mods; it's all for fun.)

FULL DIALOGUE IS AVAILABLE HERE: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1u0w6idAAfk4O7XWSOeb31oV-g7AvbVYvmJtsYxOoXU4/edit?usp=sharing

Here is a quick breakdown of characters:

The Hunter - The main character in the mod; you basically become his sidekick. He gives you the extent of the quests, is by your side the whole time. Your typical gruff, haunted sailor character, kind of a mix of Aragorn and Quint from Jaws (if that makes sense.) He will have a lot of dialogue.

Captain Gamli - A perpetually drunken sea captain, needs to be hilarious (but in a serious way, not a clown.) I'm imagining a stereotypical Scotch-Irish sailor accent, but not necessarily straight pirate. This could be fun.

Captain Ghoragdag - A badass orc women; all business, no bulls***. Anyone wants to try their hand at an female orc voice, be my guest.

Captain Guomundr - A mountain of a nord. Deep, haunted, a man of few words.

Survivors - A female khajiit, a male wood elf, a female redguard, a male breton, and a male child. These just have a little bit of dialogue. Need each to be a sort of terrified, PTSD survivor. Not necessarily frantic, more deeply shaken.

Phorcys - The Shepherd of the Sea, a gigantic Lurker. You appeal to his sensibilities to try and tame Tiamat. This could be anything. Huge, booming, gargling, fishy...I'm open to ideas.

Tiamat - This is the living embodiment of the sea, the storm goddess, the chaos mother. You talk to her after you defeat her. She is broken and stripped of her power, but still a goddess. Feminine, but still terrible and slightly noble. I keep envisioning Galadriel's crazy power trip in Fellowship of the Ring, but not nearly that intense. Obviously she's not a big fan of you, so she needs to sound pretty hostile.

Abdul Al'hazred - The mad poet, the crazy arab (in this case a Dunmer) who wrote the Necronomicon. For some reason I really want him to sound like Floki from the show Vikings, just batshit crazy and hilarious but also kind of terrifying.

Cultist - batshit madmen, similar to the voices of the Miraak Cultist, I think they’re mostly dunmer. Must be able to pronounce Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn :-)

Obed Marsh - The leader of Innsmouth/captain of the Yellow King. I'd like the Innsmouthers to have a strange accent (like the heavy new england accent in Lovecraft's books) but I'm not entirely sure how that would even sound. Obed should be little more cultured, seeing as he's the only one that actually deals with normal people.

Priest of Dagaan - Similar to Obed, fairly intelligent. Should sound pretty skeezy and creepy too.

Innsmouthers & Yellow King Sailors - Same accent, both men and women. Should be almost incomprehensible.

Delmus - Typical Telvanni Dark Elf. Desperate, needs your help, so not as much of a dick as usual.

Flagg - A wise Skaal shaman who knows a whole lot about the Necronomicon. Something should seem off about him.

Nyarlathotep/The Yellow King - I combined Nyarlathotep and Hastur into one character. He needs to be creepy as f*** and evil but intelligent and powerful. Free reign with this one. Also, Yellow King wears a mask, so he should sound slightly muffled.

High Priest of Cthulhu - can just be a standard cultist.

Sailors - just a few lines of dialogue for random sailors, need a few voice types.

Zadok Allen - A alcoholic resident of Innsmouth. Not part of the cult, but knows of their misdeeds.

Hermaeus Mora - I’d like him to sound as closely as possible to his vanilla voice. Anyone who’s good at impressions, go for it.

Sea Elves - Isolated sea-faring elven race. isolated and distrustful of outsider. Proud, yet more humble than Altmer. Like Altmer, but less . . . douchey.

King Orgnum - Immortal king of the Sea Elves. He supposedly ages backwards, so he should sound like a young man, but with the commanding presence and tone of an immortal king.

I think that covers everyone. Let me know what interests you!

Hi,

I'm looking for someone to voice my custom male follower (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74474/?). Simply, he is a nord, his name is Adrian and he is a holy knight of the divines. (More info on mod page) To begin, all vanilla lines would be rewritten to better reflect his personality. Eventually, I would like to create a personal quest line for him (sort of like in the Dragon Age franchise) which would dwell around his background and family. If you have any further questions or would like to voice act him, PM me or contact me at [email protected].

Thanks in advance!

Rico

Here is my Voice Actor Resume! I have never voice acted before, but I am very interested in trying!

Actor Stats

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Race: White/Caucasian

Last Updated: As in updated my personal information and posted something, that would be 4/24/16.

Active Member: Semi-active

Playable Races:

I have played as a Nord, Imperial, Bosmer, Dunmer, and Altmer. I have only voiced for a Nord however (not my best performance), but I do have an idea of what an Altmer accent should sound like.

Experience:

I have never professionally voice acted before, but I have voice acted for a NPC in one of my own custom mods.

Skills:

I can make .wav files and assign them to dialogue ingame. Essentially, if you give a silent mod, I can add all of the voices to it. I may need a little bit of help to develop voice talent (as my voice is kind of low and not the best voice in the world). I can speak with a heavy southern English accent (country accent for those of you that don't understand that 😜), a good Spanish accent, and a not-so-good British accent.

About Me:

I am from the southern United States, so naturally sometimes my voice can have a very strong southern accent. Other times, you could consider my voice to have an Imperial accent. I can speak a little bit of Spanish, and I come from a little bit of Hispanic ancestry, so I can also speak with a good Spanish accent.

Voice Samples:

Hey folks, I'd be interesting in trying my hand at a bit of voice acting if anyone wants to roll the dice on me? I don't have much relevant experience but I'm Scottish which might be of interest to someone. :)

Casey's Law

Gender: Male

Accent: Scottish

Age: 24

Notes:

I'm a big guy, ex-rugby player, but I've got a decent vocal range. Better suited to serious parts, simply because I'll struggle to commit to sillier, more light hearted stuff.

Feel free to drop me a pm.

I am currently looking for voice actors to help with my follower mod. More details about the mod here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4489095-wipidea-interesting-followers/

This is rather large project and may take a while to complete but the progress is steady. Mod will require a decent amount of voice recording, including quest dialogue, standard follower dialogue, generic dialogue, combat dialogue and more.

I don't require high-end audio setup but good recording quality would be nice.

As for right now, I am searching for:
- Female Argonian Hunter Voice (style: distrustful, introverted, wild)

- Female Nord Warrior Voice (style: brave, curious, warrior-type)

- Male Imperial Noble Voice (style: young, hesitant, scared, likes to question much)

- Male Dunmer Thief Voice (style: confident, sly, funny)

- Male Orc Warrior Voice (style: rough, rude, low-pitched voice)

- Male Bosmer Mage Voice

- Female Breton Pilgrim/Healer Voice

I have potential actors for voices marked with green but feel free to ask about those as well!
PM me with some voice samples.
