Issue getting mods to work with Blade and Sorcery

I have used Vortex many times before. And most times without problems but after finally getting VR, things arent working as planned.

I have the mod staging folder and game folder on the same drive but whenever I try to deploy mods it doesnt put the mods into the game and will say they are redundant. Even if its just one mod enabled it still is redundant.

Any help?

Check for any warnings under the Vortex bell icon. You've probably missed the relevant error/warning message.

All that is under the bell is "Some mods are redundant" and lists them all.

Are there any other errors? That sometimes appears when Vortex could not deploy your mods.

 

If not it means the mod folders are empty and you need to reinstall them.

There are no other errors beside that one.

 

Though, checking the games mod folder does show its empty. How would I go about reinstalling them?

Sounds like the mods are going to the wrong Staging Folder.

Go check your regular B&S Staging Folder

Yes, but are the mods showing up in the VR game's folder?

 

From your first post it sounds like you have B&S and B&S VR installed or is it a game that has the option to run the Pancake AND VR version in the little popup when started from Steam?

When I run B&S it just starts up in VR

Try reinstalling your mods. Then verify that they appear under StreamingAssets/Mods in the game folder :)
