CaptainDaydream
Should be up to date as I just installed fairly recently. Not sure how to check that one. It's been giving me this error since install I just finally started using it after getting bored with all of the other stuff I can do with all the space on this storage drive I installed. Well not so much bored as it's time to get some modded Fo4 going on. Fo4. D:/Vortex. Secondary ssd to install games n such on. Start vortex. Every time I start it. D:/Steam then all the folders you go through to get where steam sticks stuff you install with it D:/Vortex/staging? Didn't fiddle with this. By default the staging folder goes to C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\vortex or C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\blacktree gaming\vortex
CaptainDaydream
Is that what's causing the issues? I didn't think I'd done anything with the staging folder unless it was something I did wrong during install.

PhaseVerocity
error is caused by duplicate entries in a file. Basically the extension is installed on one computer then when you share the download folder with another computer this happens. I can't figure out which file it is though. I've had the problem before and fixed it by getting rid of duplicate entries in a file. I just can't figure out which file it is.
PhaseVerocity
Its the sites folder in you're downloads folder. I fixed it by removing all the update files in there. It then installed the extension update successfully. Then I put the files back except the ones it had replaced. Not sure if I could have just deleted the sites folder like someone else mentioned on another site. error is caused by duplicate entries in a file. mikeloeven
I don't see why this is an error. If a file already exists the program should ask me if I want to use the old or new file and than overwrite or skip accordingly there is no reason to throw an error and fail the install. Pickysaurus
I've never been able to replicate this so you need to have a very specific screw up in your system to get to this stage. Go into your downloads folder and delete the "site" folder, this should correct it.
