BlazeStryker Posted December 31, 2021 Share Posted December 31, 2021 I have griped about this from time to time but it's a valid concern as it simply contradicts itself; Curie sought to be capable of inspiration by getting as close to being human as possible. Specifically, transferring her core persona and knowledge out of her Nanny chassis into one. I don't think she'd appreciate being thoroughly average and only retain a third of her intellect and I severely doubt a synth brain would be that ill-equipped to handle her program and memory set. so, with all this said; WHY IN THE NAME OF GOD ARE HER SPECIAL STATS ALL FOURS AS A SYNTH? She didn't have a choice over the body offered, and her synth stats are no different to her robot stats, with a whopping 11 intelligence, and everything else the same (at 4) except as a synth her strength goes up to 5, and her health gets a massive boost. Why would she turn that down? How is it bad? Remember, her skills will be fixed by her limited personality's own pre-existing program, not that of the synth's. LarannKiar Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 Because her synth Actor base form's Class is Citizen (whose S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats are 4). Beyond that, it's most likely an oversight by the developers.. similarly to these: - her Miss Nanny laser has no sound - her Laser Rifle has no ammo so she picks up weapons and often fights with fists - unlike other companions (excluding X6-88) most of her dialogue lines have no facial expressions - her romance retry timer doesn't start after the infatuation ("highest affinity") dialogue which makes her unable to be romanced later. (I don't think it's intentional, there are cut romance lines and even a cut romance scene in her dialogue quest, most likely her designer just messed up). - Diamond City Guards act like if she were a robot even after she has been transferred into a synth body - numerous others.. If the DNA has been manipulated to the point of producing Synths of both sexes, every race, every eye color/hair color/skin color, every type of hair, every everything...how much relation does it still have to the source?
