  1. Try this link: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...p;#entry1582383 (For installing mod that file is named as .fomod) A very detailed version on how to install a nude body mod. But you can use it as reference to install your mod, it's for FOMM way. Okay, shortcut... I need to know which area have you encountered problem installing, which part do you not understand or get confused about the links Branimirzg posted to you.
  2. No problem, glad to help out. ;) That's too bad about the sound, it doesn't matter with what version you have, the game should read it if you've placed it in. You're not allowed to move the camera when they "do it", I suggest using console code "tfc", just open up console and type that. As for Nova, it is common, just try not to do it with her on the bed. The mod itself is not that stable, pretty bugged. I also stumbled upon another bug once, when you do it with anyone in the game, they'll be naked and never switch back their clothes, open up console and typing "resurrect" should fix that. Edit : For the sounds, you need to double click "run this for AP to work.exe" in the downloaded voice mod. After you place the sound folder in Fallout 3 install directory.
  3. Hello there, I know that you've put a lot of effort into making this leveling guide, but it isn't necessary. All of the "you need to know" information are found here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3 or other similar websites when you browse the web. Kudos to you for this anyway.
  4. If you have purchased Fallout 3 GOTY edition, you can continue on playing after the main quest, if not then you need the free play after MQ mod. The game does not end that quickly, DLC's also add tons of gameplay. By the way, you don't need to rush and finish the main quest, do some exploration and sub quests. You won't finish the game in less than 2 days that's for sure.
  5. To install manually, just unpack your downloaded mods, then copy and paste them in your install directory. Example E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data for Windows XP, C:\games\fallout3\Date for Vista or Windows 7. If your downloaded files are FOMM installers, just copy the .FOMOD files to C:\games\fallout3\fomm\mods.
  6. First freezing problem, it'll help if you update your graphics card driver to the latest one. I think the Rivet City exit might be mod related, the important question is what mods have you installed before, sometimes even when the mods are unchecked, they're still there. The game will crash at the particular area if... For example there are missing meshes/textures/mod incompatibility in that particular area. The easiest way to solve this would be to reinstall the whole game and the patching without any mods. Then activate your DLC's, go to Rivet City/play Mothership zeta quest, see if you still get the terrible CTD's.
  7. Blue screen can be caused by over heating or older versions of graphic's card driver. Try updating your driver with the latest one, also update sound card drivers with the latest one. PC optimum temperature shouldn't be over 58c after an hour of gaming. To check PC temperature, you can download a free software called SpeedFan.
  8. Installing installing Games for Windows - LIVE Setup 3.0 fixes the problem. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...1b-8f781ad50bd0 After installing that, re-patch your game with 1.7 patch.
  9. Are you sure you haven't installed any body mods? As far as I know body mods can cause different skin tones if you haven't activated archive invalidation. Texture replacer mods like Project Beauty HD may cause that too.
  10. For sounds you need to change Fallout.ini file within My Documents/My Games/Fallout3, change bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1. I'm assuming you have already downloaded Fem Voice package from the optional section, the animated prostitution does not come with the fem voices. You just need to extract the sound files to E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data. As for the bodies, I find that Breeze's and Exnem's work pretty well together. Follow this link: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...p;#entry1582166 I already gave someone else a really detailed version on how to install the bodies.
  11. erm im not too sure how to install it with shorts? is it a particular file or do i need to go into the textures etc... i mean i read the readme If you yet to have installed Fallout Mod Manager, download it. Then install it. Install it to your Fallout 3 install directory, example E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3. Link to FOMM: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 For the male one, download bzFO3MalesV1dot6d (the FOMM version), the downloaded file consist of bzFO3MalesV1dot6d.fomod. Place the file here. Example E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\fomm\mods. Start up FOMM, click on package manager on the right side of the menu, check the file name bzFO3MalesV1dot6d then click on the activate button. Install the body that you want. For female one, do exactly as above. To install the undies version (Exnem Female Body Replacer UNDIES version), extract the files to example E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data. If you do not contain the needed folders just make them yourself. For retextured undies (Exnem Undies Retextured), you need to install Exnem Female Body Replacer UNDIES version first, then extract the downloaded file to example E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data. Please be aware that the retextured version is optional. Remember to toggle archive invalidation after installing all the body mods.
  12. Hmm... I've never encountered such a problem before. Did you try loading the previous auto save? Was it also showing level 1?
  13. Read this for The Pitt starting quest/how to activate: http://guides.gamepressure.com/fallout3the...ide.asp?ID=6883 As for Operation Anchorage, you should get the radio signal once you get out of the vault and head to Megaton. Should get it when in Springvale. (Will receive distress radio signal from Outcast)
  14. For guys, try this one: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4719 (Install the one with shorts) For females, try this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8524 (Download this and install first) http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9073 (Then use this undies version) http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9128 (Retex of the undies if you dislike the previous one)
  15. Hey, thanks so much for the kudos Ross. :thanks:
  16. I don't know how to answer your first but I can answer the second. Vanilla basically means plain and without any extras or adornments. As in original, no mods, no add-ons. An example, "Vanilla Fallout" does not contain any nudity.
  17. Okay, I'm going to add that raider to my list of "people in fallout 3 i REALY don't wanna met" Well, if you do bump into the guy, you can "cheat" and just go into the console, click on him and type "kill". Let's see if he still stand against the all mighty console codes.
  18. "-Approaching mister Burke during The power of atom; -Talking to your robot in megatons house about how the first laboratory works; -During the conversation with the talking three in oasis; -talking to Fawkes in that quest were you start the purifier, at least without broken steel, and telling him to go start the purifier; -during the conversation with that guard guy (Dominic?) in Canterbury commons; -Talking with that drunk ghoul in underworld." Do you have any mods that affect any items in the crash area, or the people, or items that the people are using in that area? Most of your not so random crashes are due to conversations. Try disabling SCC mod. (Sharing and Caring Companions.esm, SCC - Talk to Anyone.esp and SCC Armor.esp You might need to start a new game to test it out.
  19. What I meant was, you should arrange them like this. [X] Fallout3.esm [X] Anchorage.esm [X] ThePitt.esm [X] BrokenSteel.esm [X] PointLookout.esm [X] Zeta.esm [X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esm [X] Sharing and Caring Companions.esm [X] RTS.esm ................. (And so on) Then comes the .esp files By the way, it might not be a mod related problem, post your PC specs, that would help out too. You may try these: Fallout Stutter Remover http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8886 Prevent FO3 Crashes and Freezes http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7529
  20. You can't really assume the world is going to be like "Fallout 3" after nuclear apocalypse after all, Fallout 3 is just a game. Read this, it has some interesting facts about what will happen if "Fallout" does happen in real life. http://www.exitmundi.nl/nukes.htm
  21. *Assuming you're completely being serious  * Which? There's so many of his outfits. It would help out modders if they know what exactly you're looking for, a screenshot or two would really help out.
  22. How about these? http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=86 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2847
  23. Firstly try moving all your .esm files near to the top. Place mod .esm files after official DLC's.
