  1. It is a separate esp that the omod adds, you need that, just deactivate the omod and reactivate. As for the mutton in Chorrol, do the rat quest for the fighter's guild and you will get some.
  2. Ask in the mod detectives, but it kinda looks like a variation of the white squall armor
  3. Mine is 2011 x64, if I remember correctly I got the .ini file from the x32 version. edit: I'm not sure if .3ds file will transfer weighting and animations.
  4. Here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35849
  5. I tried to make some once, but I could never get the root of the dreads to look right. And texturing would suck. But +1 on the idea I would love to see it.
  6. Yes I have gotten the .nif importer to work with 3D Max x64. As for animations, first open the skeleton (the nif file) then import the .kf file into the scene. Hope this helps Matt
  7. Look in one of the other folders for a .ini file (I got the x64 version and it didn't have one, so I used the .ini from the x32 version). Hope this helps
  8. You need the .nif plugin : http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/max_plugins/
  9. Hmm not sure look here: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Better_Retextures_:_Detailed_Guide_For_NifSkope_and_the_GIMP#Do_I_Need_a_Glow_Map.3F
  10. If the intro movie has a different name (ie it doesn't replace the original file) you have to edit you INI to get it to play that one
  11. Just make a glow texture. Take the regular texture and have everything blacked out expect what you want to glow, which should be a shade of grey (the lighter the more intense the glow). Then name the file the same just with a "_g" at the end.
  12. I could try, though I don't know Blender (I use 3D Max) so I can't guarantee anything.
  13. What problems are you having trying to export your mesh?
  14. Quite honestly it would be a waste of money to upgrade to either of those cards. Like you said your rig runs any game great, the small improvement you would get wouldn't be worth the extra money. Just wait for the next series to come out when the shrink the die again.
  15. If you are really serious about building this for game development/ 3D graphics. Look into quality IPS monitors like this: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-8277&~ck=baynoteSearch&baynote_bnrank=1&baynote_irrank=0 Also when I mentioned water cooling earlier I was talking about a full custom loop, not a prepackaged unit which don't out perform air cooling. However if you are set on that cooler I would recommend the Corsair H70, its the same thing with a bigger radiator and if it leaks Corsair will replace any damaged parts no questions. With the SSD again look at the Crucial C300. It utilizes the SATA III or wait for these to be released: http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2010/12/20/a-data-launches-sata-6gbps-ssds/1 As said above, look into building a workstation instead of a ridiculous gaming rig if you want to go with your college path. Get a workstation graphics card and I would also recommend getting a Xeon processor instead of an i7. Finally ask on overclock.net for extra advice, it is a great site and the members are very knowledgeable and very helpful.
  16. Well for the top of you price range I would recomend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125338 It will run most games maxed out for quite a while.
  17. Hey Voorstryden that looks really good, would it be possible to put together a quick guide on how to get this to work (for other modders like myself to make real heels). Thanks in advance Matt
  18. You need a 3D modeling program like 3D Max or Blender
  19. I disagree with this, HDD can not compare to SSD in terms of read speeds, SSD will vary greatly with writes so in that case, yes sometimes there will not be a significant increase over HDD's. But on average (especially access/read speeds) there is no comparison between the two drive types.
  20. Personally I would get a SSD that would take advantage of what you Mobo has to offer (SATA III). Crucial 300 series seem to be a top contender in this category, amazing for boot drives. Also I agree with the case go with Lian-Li or a Corsair Obsidian for a good but slightly more reasonable case. And with a computer like that, why not water cool it while you are at it. (extreme over clocks :D )
  21. Look here: http://www.bethsoft.com/downloads_01.html
  22. If you are using Windows vista or 7, make sure your game is not installed in the program files (default location).
