  1. Open the download to the point where you have the files individually named such as footfemale.nif. Then open the Oblivion\Data folder to the same level and manually replace the files. Remember that you need Exnems Nude Body OMOD active before you activate HGEC. When OBMM asks you to overwrite a file select yes to all. Once you have HGEC installed and working, then use the HGEC body parts in BBB to overwrite the hand, foot upper and lower body.
  2. There are quite a few tutorials, I reccomend going to Oblivion>Oblivion Modifications>General Mod Talk then read the pinned topic Oblivion Modding Links (I hope this is correct). You could look for a post by Tomlong54210 and read his links in his signature also. The pinned Topic has quite a few links to the Wiki and many of the articles on TESNexus and other sites.
  3. The individual body parts need to be installed for BBB to work, You need to replace the meshes inside your Data\Meshes\characters\ _male that are installed when you install HGEC with the upper body, lower body, hand and foot that BBB needs. The meshes are identical to the HGEC originals in game, they just allow the animations for BBB to work to create the bouncing when a character is naked. Just use one top and one bottom and one foot- preferably your favorite size that you picked for HGEC. EDIT The eyeball issues are caused by BP The solutions have been posted in a recent Topic(within the last month) and Tomlong also has posted a link on how to fix this.
  4. OBMM is the best way to install body replacers since the Roberts Male and Female, HGEC,Exnem,UFF already exist as OMODs or in a format to be converted into an OMOD by OBMM. Corronera's Maximum Compatability Skeleton (TESNexus php?id 27945) is the best Skeleton available, but some mods will overwrite your current skeleton when you install them.I will always reinstall Corronera's because it works with most of the mods that require a special skeleton.
  5. The problem might be caused by a mod that alters where you find the letters, a letter can fall through a chair or desk. The letter for Shadowcrest Vineyard is usually on the right corner of the left pew closest to the altar of the Chapel in Skingrad. Make sure you have Cobl and OBSE installed properly according to the readmes and the esps are placed correctly in your load order. A utility like BOSS can do this automatically, but you should have a utility like Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) to adjust the load order of your mods. both of these are available on TESNexus. Posting your load order can make troubleshooting your problem much easier.
  6. Read the pinned Topics in these forums and Tomlongs links. Most of the questions that people post here have been answered before, but searching through hundreds of topics can be annoying. Most of the information people like myself give is already available in the pinned Topics or available in articles on TESNexus, the Oblivion wiki,etc..., but they can not help you if you do not know how to find them.
  7. Activated my download of UV and BOSS placed the esp between my race mods and my Bashed Patch. Is your BOSSlog current? Finish downloading the UOP before you try the BOSSlog though, it just fixes too many problems with the game to not install it. Your ZOMBIES mod should go after a race mod if it turns npcs' into zombies, I may edit this once I find out what this mod does.EDIT I think the Zombie mod might work best installed where you had it, but you can always play with your load order if it doesn't.
  8. By placing Steam into C:Games you have removed UAC from the picture with the exception of needing to be an Administrator to change some of the desktop icons. UAC will no longer prevent a mod from working in your game. The mods not showing up in the game is caused by not having a current version of Oblivion(1.20416),a load order conflict, or not having everything installed correctly (like OBSE,compatability patches,etc...)
  9. The UOP includes the custom race fix. The only esp that should normally go behind the Bashed Patch is Streamline. I hope you have already installed Oblivion outside of C:Program Files and into another folder like C:Games. UAC is infamous for causing a ctd when an OBSE function makes it think malware is attacking your computer. I wish I could tell you where to place UV and the ZOMBIES mod in your load order.Having to hand sort mods that BOSS does not recognise is a pain, but you should sort your load order with BOSS (TESNexus php?id 20516) just to prevent future mod conflicts.
  10. Are you running Windows Vista or 7 as an operating system and is your game installed in C:Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion? If you have answered yes then you need to move your game outside of C:Program Files and UAC monitoring. Most people use C:Games\Oblivion to avoid the problems of playing a heavily modded Oblivion and still have the protection UAC provides for thier computer(s). If you are using the Steam version then you should install Steam outside of Program Files, then move your Steam games to the new folder
  11. I think more people would complain if you did not include the files, especially non english speakers who need the extra time to translate unfamiliar words. There is nothing more annoying than missing an important clue given in dialogue, especially in a mod that has no quest markers at all.
  12. Is your version of Oblivion patched to 1.20416? The patch can be obtained from the Bethesda Softworks website or on TESNexus. The version should appear in the lower left corner of the main loading screen for Oblivion where you can select to start a new game.
  13. A mod like Better Cities alters many of the places that modders place clothing, such as the Imperial Arboretum. Any of Colourwheels larger mods add animations to the game and clothing and cosmetic/race mods that are conflicting are reponsible for almost a third of the Topics here on TESNexus Forums. A mod that does not require an esp that has not been deactivated properly can cause havok in a situation where items do not show up in game.
  14. The position a mod takes in the load order determines what priority the changes the mod makes have on the game. This is why a utility like Streamline and the Bashed Patch for Wrye Bash will almost always load last. A program like BOSS automatically adjusts the load order to fix conflicts caused by improper ordering of mods during installation. The information from the mod that loads last is always given highest priority when the game is being played.
  15. Post your load order, OBMM has the utility to do this.
  16. Do you use Oblivion Mod Manager yet? OBMM allows you to play with your load order and allows you to convert your downloads into OMODs' for easy activation/deactivation and prevents errors caused by missing meshes and textures. Have you installed the mods using a program like 7-zip or J-zip to install the meshes, textures and the esp into your Oblivion\Data folder?EDIT OBMM also has a form of archive invalidation called bsa redirection in utilities.
  17. For OBMM I will reccommend the auto install version. It will guide you through the installation process and it will have a popup asking you what install path to use-remember that Oblivion is installed into C:Games\Oblivion. the installer should do the rest automatically. To install OBSE you should follow Tomlongs link. You will need to be logged on as an Administrator to change the desktop icon to use the OBSE execute file instead of the Oblivion Execute File. To install the Ring of Console just place the esp into C:Games\Oblivion\Data and activate the esp. Ring of Console is also an easy way to test if OBSE in installed properly. Just assign the ring to a hotkey and press the key (I always assign it to the 1 key myself) and type in player.coc weye then press enter, you should be inside the house in Weye near the Wawnet Inn.
  18. Using the mod to allow Unlimited Amuletes and Rings and by adjustiing the Tweaks assorted and Tweaks clothing in Wrye Bash to allow clothing and armor to show amulets should fix your problem. Remember that choosing unlimited amulets or rings inside the Bashed Patch will make all Amulets and rings become invisible in the game!
  19. The UOP may fix this, as it seems similiar to the twitching roots bug. Do you have a mod that alters the vendors in the game like Enhanced Economy, or a mod that modifies how a Daedra reacts to the player? Post your load order and somone might recognise the mod that is causing all of your problems.
  20. Are you using bsa redirection as a form of archive invalidation? This is in utilities in OBMM.archive invalidation typically makes the last mesh or texture installed be the first mesh or texture used in the game.
  21. Do you have a mod that allows you to equip rings and amulets and have them show up on all of the clothing and armor in the game? Unlimited Rings and/or Amulets Shivering Isles (TESNexus php?id 10140 )makes all of the vanilla rings and amulets equippable and invisible, but will allow modded "amulets" like a cloak to show up on your character.
  22. If you have played Oblivion before and you already have a few saved games you can access on you computer, you may have a mod or utility that causes them to be placed somewhere other than C:Users\"user name"\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves.If you still have all of the mods you downloaded stored then start reading the readme files to find out if one of them changes where yor saves are being placed, or click on "start" then click on "computer" then click on your hard drive "drive c" and start hunting for the .ess files mannually.
  23. Are you using the current BOSSlog and BOSS to sort your load order yet? When you run BOSS you will get a list with your active mods on it that contains hints and tips on how to make your game run smoother. LEARN how to use Wrye Bash, Once you know how to activate the Bashed Patch properly you love what it does for Oblivion.I will edit this soon.
  24. You may have a load order or mod conflict which COULD be fixed with OBMM,BOSS, and Wrye Bash. Get away from using quicksaves on a regular basis,an autosave is almost as bad because an already existing problem will get carried on into the next save. Today I was doing a quest for Integration the Stranded Light and had a corrupt quicksave. All I did was help somone at lunch (why I quicksaved) and restarted my game later on. The autosave from entering a dungeon caused the corruption because it did not register my characters entry into the dungeon!
  25. If you have Wrye Bash you could reinstall all of the mods you did have before you deleted Oblivion by looking at the list from a saved game. You might be able to get the game to work by deleting the configuration settings in Documents\My Games\Oblivion-the file is called Oblivion. Did you remember to install Oblivion into a file like C:Games instead of Program Files if you are using Windows Vista or 7? Did you remember to reinstall OBSE and the plugins needed for the mods you have active?
