  1. I seem to be having a variation on the problem. The left hand won't use magic. period. I've tried using magic while dismounted from the dragon, and the left hand will work fine and allow dual-casting and whatnot. This is close to insanity.
  2. This character of mine is one of a pair. If one is around, the other is probably in the world as well, doing great heroics. Name- Zoe Skin- Caucasian Hair- Black hair with ponytail Eyes- Green Armor- Enclave Advanced Power Armor MK 2 or NCR Courier Duster with Ulysses' breathing mask. Faction Allegiances- NCR, Boomers, Brotherhood of Steel, Followers of the Apocalypse, Freeside, Goodsprings, White Glove Society, Novac , Great Khans, Enclave Remnants Enemies- Caesar's Legion, Fiends, Powder Gangers, Mr House (Eventually) Alignment- Good Combat Style- Capable at all ranges Weapons of Choice- Dinner Bell (magnum shells or slugs), Callahan Fullbore Autolock and Anti-Materiel rifle (.50 MG match-grade & Explosive ammo), Avenger Minigun (5mm JSP Hand-loads), LeMatt revolver (.45-70 Government JSP hand loads.) Nuka cola grenades, Nephi's Golf Driver. Special Notes- Bears cybernetic upgrades, thanks both to the Big Mountain Think Tank and Dr Usanagi of the New Vegas Medical Clinic. As a result of this augmentation, she is strong enough to carry a quarter of a ton on her back, Powers (RP-wise only)- Empathy psionics- Zoe has the ability to detect the general emotional state that people around her are in, as well as the residual emotions of an area. It also shows her what kind of person she is looking at, with evil people having far blacker auras. The disadvantage to this power is that if she is in the presence of someone especially nasty, or in an area with massive negative residual emotions (like the Divide or the Sierra Madre), she will suffer an overload of negative emotion which can lead to nausea and even unconsciousness. She is able to shut the ability off with some concentration. Bio- Zoe was born in a vault on the west coast of the former united states. Her empath abilities were more low-key at the time. The vault wound up opening, with Zoe and her friend Jacob leaving to seek their fortunes in the outside world (taking the customary 10mm pistol each). They were captured by the Enclave and separated. Jacob wound up being shipped to chicago, while Zoe was tagged as a minor psychic and placed in the "care" of a scientist at Navarro. The result of that was her empathy abilities increasing to the point that they are at now. She was freed when the NCR attacked and destroyed the Navarro outpost. Zoe ended up becoming an NCR citizen, before joining the mojave express as a courier.
  3. To be honest (No pun intended), Honest Hearts seems to be the natural spot to start the DLC myth arc. It's a very idyllic location, compared to the Sierra Madre, Big Empty, or Divide. It's also got an example of the handiwork of your evil counterpart, as well as light foreshadowing of him thanks to Joshua Graham. Plus, it works great even if you haven't entered the new vegas strip yet. Dead Money seemed to be the next logical choice, taking things on a much darker turn thanks to Father Elijah. He further foreshadows the Divide, Big Empty, and Ulysses, providing the perfect hook for Old World Blues, where you will get a direct look at what happened when Ulysses, Christine, and Father Elijah all wound up in the Big Empty, as well as hearing the voice of Ulysses. When you reach Lonesome Road, you will have finally caught up with him, and brought the myth arc to a close. That's my run-down on the order of it anyways.
  4. the metro entrance gave me the creeps far worse than anything the developers could have thought up. If this isn't the finished product, then the final polished project is probably going to be fantastic. keep it going.
  5. simply making a bethesda folder in the main hard disk works for me with oblivion, so it'll probably work with your fallout installation too. UAC caused me so bloody many headaches when was first trying modding.
  6. What would the version happen to be? Of course, if the problem is already solved, then ignore this.
  7. Okay, so you're one of the poor sods that gets screwed over by steam due to the connection you have and are not a pirate. Just like Jimshu said, lots of the mods were made with later tools, and those use later patches, courtesy of Steam. edit- and actually, it's that I don't want to see someone accidentally banned for being mistook for a pirate. if your copy is legit, then the alarm bells going off in my head when I read the first post were an accident.
  8. Something doesn't sound right here. Is it a legit copy? From everything I've read so far, you need to be legit for most skyrim mods to work. Has something to do with steam. If your version is cracked, then your stay here is going to be very very short. Edit- and so far, from what I've seen, lots of mods need the latest patch to run. Once again, it has to do with the nature of steam.
  9. Werne, your doom comes in the form of a big mean bread elemental and a big mean cheese elemental. Feel the burn of the cheese elemental's cone of molten mozzarella as you are crushed under a storm of gigantic stale hardrolls from the bread elemental.
  10. Listening to Meridian by Sirenia. Meridian Such a fun piece of music.

    Greetings

Well, most of my time here is spent in the mods section looking for dungeon crawls to have fun with. I've had quite a bit of fun with DavidBrasher's stuff, the forgotten realm especially. The rest of the time I browse the banned lists to see just how many people were dumb enough to report that their non-steam (pirated) copy of skyrim wasn't working. I myself don't go anywhere near that stuff. When you have a legit copy, you know that any problems you experience with the game are either the dev's fault or your own. And proof that the moderators work fast? I was writing witty reply to a pirate, preparing to press the report button to put him in the banhammer sights of a moderator, and while I'm in the middle of writing it, the thread gets locked. My hat's off to Thandal for the banning and to the folks that likely punched the report button.
  12. Welcome from the most recent lurker to come out of hiding. The whole mod installation can be a bit intimidating at first. It becomes second nature after you figure out how to work things like Wrye Bash and Oblivion Mod Manager. Hope you enjoy the stay.

    Greetings

I've actually been here a good while, just lurking and getting to know people from their posts. I think it's time I stopped my lurking and properly introduced myself. I'm Tolben180, logic nut, oblivion nut, gun nut, and one of the weirdest Christians you will likely encounter. Greetings. Also, I'd like to extend a bit of a thanks to Dark0ne and the moderators. I think this is probably the first truly massive site that I have joined, and I can only imagine the sort of madness that you folks have to put up with. Edit- oops! Forgot to finish the thanks. Namely the thanks is for helping to build up this site to one of the largest single sources of mods on the web. Edit2, Electric boogaloo- Also, I know that religious topics are a no-no here. Don't worry, I have absolutely no intention of messing around with that. I've seen what those sorts of discussions can do to a board, and it was definitely a wise choice to nip a potential problem like this on the bud.
  14. As far as I can tell, posting nudity in the general image share is just an attempt at trolling. I've read numerous bans on the subject. The people who post nudity likely know that it's a bannable offense, yet they persist. I would definitely say it's trolling, courtesy of the violation of common sense that comes from doing it in spite of all the warnings beforehand.
