mechatronics? semiconductors? looks like my EE basics professor was right, EE and mechanics are REALLY alike.

Hmm. wish i had that option. most stuff out here don't make as much sense as they should. for example, as soon as i graduate, i should enlist for 18 months in the army, otherwise i'll be dragged to jail o_O

Wow, really? ouch, that sucks. that reminds me, one of my colleagues (lol i've always wanted to say that) wants to go for MBA after getting his EE bachelor's degree. i dunno it might be a safer economical alternative than going for a master's...

well, so far, most of my classes were shared with non EE students. i've even made a couple of mechanical engineering friends, since many of our classes are shared. you know, general stuff, like physics 101 and calculus 101, as well as some obligatory cultural classes like persian, and theology. GOD i hate that last one.

Out here in the crack of the world, the first two semesters don't have sub specialties. but because of some complications i think i'm forced to go for something we call "Control systems". from what I've gathered, it's mostly about robotics. It's cool, i like all EE branches.
