  1. ---------------------------New Vegas Cut Content--------------------------- Cut Quests The names are basically all thats left of these quests, so modders would have to recreate them according to their own opinions. Cut Dialog Appartently from reading over at the Vault, there are audio files and dialogues for the 3 deadly fiends Violet, Cook-Cook, and Driver Nelphi, but they are unused since the fiends are always hostile. And obviously any cut NPCs and Dialogue involving other cut content may be floating around as well.

  3. This is where you post the storylines, usually only non-modders post here, but if you need help with the geck then try the "how to become a modder" thread in my signature and ask for help if you can find it there.
  4. Thanks as always Pickin' the Banjo, I'll add that into the list when I get the time. Here are some contributions from the other copy of this thread I made on another forum. Glad to see so many views and users of this list, I look forward to seeing some of this content in future mods everyone.
  5. Yes I felt the low intelligence dialogues were hilarious, hell even the dogs called the player an idiot. I loved K-9 the original cyberdog. Heres a funny bit of dialog when you first find him and if you play a stupid character and keep asking him to repeat himself... He had lots of funny lines (in Fallout 2 you had to ask your followers to put their weapons away before they'd do it.) so if you asked K-9 to put his weapon away.
  6. Ha! I was just about to recommend you PaladinRider, Well you beat me to the punch. Anyways Joe, Try posting a few examples of business mods from Fallout NV and Fallout 3, that way the modders reading this request will have a better idea of the mod in mind. Hell try showing a few oblivion business mods if you like one or two of them, Oblivion had tons of mods like this.
  7. Some Cyborg Rex Concepts for those who kinda like Rex as a junkbot. For those who want a complete Junk-bot version of Rex. More Steampunk Cyberdogs Random Cyberdog Photos
  8. Hmm well I've gone out and found some more photos, Hopefully they'll help inspire some more ideas and looks for Rex or this possible new and seperate Cyberdog. More "True" Cyberdog Concepts A Legion/Fiend looking Concept for a Cyberdog Possible ideas for the Alien Tech Cyberdog I'll post more shortly
  9. Still a bit busy but I think that if your going to be doing as much expanding as you seem to, you'll likely need help with voicing and resources and what not. Heres a (well its THE) thread for any and all voice acting for Fallout mods. I made it a long time ago but its still used so anyone from this thread can likely be contacted and asked to volunteer to voice for a mod. You can also simply post your mod, and the characters and voices you need and wait for replys, most of the people are amatuers and just fellow Fallout players, but more than a few are professionals willing to help since it helps spread out their voice. The Voice Acting Thread The rest, well I'd really just suggest you go through my content page and look and see what might be helpful, I try to only post on meaningful threads, (So you won't likely see threads like "KAN I PLZ HAVE MW2 WEAPOZ?" =P ) Heres the link to my content page. SimplyWayne90's Nexus Forum Content Oh perhaps you might work on the footprint idea. It's an old topic I made awhile back.
  10. Also Unused from New Vegas http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/308174-protect-o-bots-ready-for-action/ Here are many creatures from older Fallouts or creatures that were cut and never made it to the final game, so they would all make unique animals to hunt Venus Mantrap (Cut) Giant Pit Vipers (Cut) S'Lanter (Cut) Intelligent, FEV-mutated raccoons cut from Fallout 1 Giant Catfish (Cut) Fallout 3 Cut Creature Mutant Wanamingo (Cut) Fallout 3 Cut Creature Manowar Tendril Floater (Cut) Fallout 3 Cut Creature Needle Tooth Floater (Cut) Fallout 3 Cut Creature Gehenna (Cut) Mentioned in Van Buren Molech (Cut) Mentioned in Van Buren Desert stalker (Cut) Mentioned in Van Buren No page, but Black Radscorpians are mentioned in Van Buren Giant leech (Cut) Mentioned in Van Buren A Panther Mentioned in Van Buren And Penny Arcade Comic Radtoad (Cut) Mentioned in Van Buren Two-headed Rattlesnake Hairy Deathclaw From Fallout Tactics (Not lore friendly) Komodo Dragon From Fallout Tactics Mutant Crocodile (Cut) From Cancelled Fallout Tactics 2 Floater Plant Mutant Iguana Mentioned in every Fallout but never seen. Horned Kangaroo Mentioned in Fallouts 1 and 2 Wanamingo Seen in Fallouts 1 and 2 Pig Rats Mr. Pinch The Giant Ant Mentioned in The story of the Vault 77 from Penny Arcade Wolves Not yet seen in Either Fallout 3 or New Vegas Radcats: Essentially "ghouls" of the cat world, these poorly individuals can be found in dark, irradiated areas, wild or accompanying ghouls. Wild radcats will show no desire to get to know the player, and will defend their territory if provoked. Domesticated radcats (as will be found in Underworld) will share similar behaviours with the domestic cat. Whilst still quite weak, these cats will experience a bonus in general ability and healing in the presence of radiation. Wildcats: Huge, tiger-like beasts in thick, armoured skin; you wouldn't want to piss one off. In combat, effectively a yao guai with armour, these cats will be a force with which to be reckoned. Descended from several species of large jungle cat used in the original experimentation, these cats will exhibit hunting and territorial behaviours. Leave them alone, and they'll do the same for you, but cross them and you've got a fight on your hands. Will be found in packs across the Wasteland. Poisonclaws: Small, speedy variations of the radcat, these cats will have mutated the ability to produce and use a powerful venom. These cats will be fond of the ambush, and otherwise quite skittish. Whilst they are incredibly weak in terms of HP and DR, these cats will experience similar boosts to the radcat in the presence of radiation, and enhanced healing upon the ingestion of glowing mushrooms. Guess where they'll be found.
  11. Typically every Fallout game had about 15% of its content eiter cut or left unfinished, it seems to be tradition nowadays. However I'd love to see things finished and used. So I'm going to list all the significant cut content I can find out about for the various games and hope for the best. Cut Creatures Cut Items Thats about it for New Vegas, there is more but it wasn't mentioned due to being cut for good reasons or the likelyhood of it being re-entered into the game like Ulysess. http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110109171931/fallout/images/thumb/e/e7/Ulysses.jpg/240px-Ulysses.jpg
  12. Hmmm, perhaps appealing to one of the mod makers that created the smarter A.I mods, however I believe those mods only affect enemies A.I and not companions or friendlies, however I'd look into that. Normally I'd link you but there are several out there, so try looking for a link from the nVamp mod page.
  13. @FlankerDFR I know your pain, you'd really enjoy nVamp since combat becomes absolutely unforgiving then, (Step out of cover/make too much noise and bam! dead! and pretty everything is lethal as hell) Hey again DJ, I seem to have popped up on all your threads here at nexus, (I saw you recently joined the "darkside" of Fallout forums as well.) I skimmed through the thread as everyone had lots to say. However I'm currently busy but I will come back later and post some ideas of mine.
  14. Unfortunately i had to reformat a bit after you were banned, The File I uploaded was only recovered since It had an online back-up. So that file is the new foundation for any future S.E.R project. However Its well made and I'd suggest you test-play it, its short but I felt we were on the right track. Currently the only people offering help are few and far between, I've got one person willing to do textures and things. And another willing to be a patch tester. and thats it, Then I'm also working on a seperate mod to recreate Cassidy, and also developing a new cyberdog to replace Rex. Still S.E.R is definitily my top priority if we ever recieve more support from modders willing to make things like areas and especally scripters.
  15. I'm interested in this as well, we discussed this awhile back in the thread "Why Can't We Make Fat People" It was brought up in reguards to Santa at the time, But I've been hoping for a fat-ish vault 10 suit to remake Twig from the "Nuka Break" with some modders I've organized.
  16. Hey glad to see you CrossfireX S.E.R has died since last time, However i did release a single encounter. And on another forum I've seen a horse mod going pretty well, the creator is simply having trouble with trying to get the skeleton of the horse to accept the players when they ride, seperately the horse isn't so bad, but together it looks absolutely ridiculous.
  17. I've enjoyed your mod a lot djmystro However I have no clue how it plays alone, I use nVamp since it makes the game a lot more challenging, but your areas and things are very well made, and I know your currently working on storylines, and clutter placement, so I can only imagine that your mod will be even more fun. I've already given you resources on your other thread. But I could suggest more stuff I guess. Custom rewards and things at the end of areas. - People like to get something good after 15 mintutes exploring and dying. However this would require permissions, and would make your mod pretty heavy in file size. Storylines for all the areas. - Like in vaults where as you descend you learn more about the story and things. However, you include tons of areas and I'd rather see more areas and things rather than non-essential stories for areas i've already cleared likely. Custom Bosses and Creatures - Using various resources like C.I.B or the Horror movie mutants resource from Fallout 3 nexus, you can surprise and shock players with bosses and themed areas. Random Scenarios - You could include scenarios like, perhaps you help some NCR/Legion patrol sweep one of the areas, or you save generic NPCs that either help you clear out the area or just run away. Random Scripted Things - Try reading my 2nd method in How to Make special encounters thread. You could use something similar and perhaps have a few areas that appear randomly as the player travels. Like perhaps they are walking in the desert and a message box pops-up saying "Under your feet the sand crumbles and reveals the entrance to a tunnel." And then a sewer grate activator spawns on the players feet. References/Easter Eggs/Fallout jokes - Humor is a big part of Fallout, a normal Fallout game should be at least around 60% of humor and parodies. So try something similar like I suggested before in the other thread, like maybe include things like graffeti to make fun of popular mods like "FOOK You!" or "Project Utah is better than Neveda!" or spoof popular games like Halo. I had a funny idea of including skulls like in Halo and have them play the xbox 360 achievement noise and insult the player like the "A hand is not a girlfriend" skull or funny little insults like that. I'd say more but i think thats enough for the moment.
  18. Very cool ideas VaultPi as always, I love the ball and chain weapon idea. Heres a thread from awhile back with more ideas on an evil female companion if you want to draw it out a bit. And if this gets more developed I'll happily write some quick dialogue for an example or for her. The Evil Overlord List
  19. I'm moving this thread back to the front since the other Boxing thread has gotten a lot of activity lately and thought that they might be interested in finishing the work from this thread.
  20. Nice I like it, its a good vault scenario and I've read a lot of them, Here are some threads and things to help you out hopefully "Modders Resources And New Models" Thread Full of modders Resources from both Fallout 3 and New Vegas in a very organized fashion as well as models that can be improved and then use for Fallout. "What Would Your Vault's Experiment Be?" Lots of fan made scenarios of social or psycopathic experiments in various vaults. "Post your Quest Mod Ideas Here" Try The Vault specific ideas obviously. "The Fallout Community Thread For Voice Actors and Volunteers to VA" My thread where members and modders post either offering or asking to/for voice acting for mods in the works. And just for the hell of it, try checking out some of the photos from the Power Armor Inspiration for some ideas if you plan on new armors. Best Of Luck
  21. nVamp will make the game very challenging and add lots of enemies and A.I's are smarter, but you'll be dying like every 5 minutes because bullets are more like real ones and your pc is named 50 cent. For quests look up anything involving a modder named Pucemoose for looks, look up type 3 for better female bodies, and breezes/roberts for better male bodies, and try all the Beware of girl mods. try Lings for hair and eyes or Project Mikoto Underground Hideout is the best house mod out there. RTS (Real time Settler) or Wasteland Defense are interesting. For the rest just do these instructions Browse Categories Pick which type of mod your looking for (Weapons, Models/Textures, Quests, etc.) At the type is the listing order and the default settings are like "name" and "asc" or "ascending" Change those settings to "downloads" and "descending" Click "ok" What that does is list the most downloaded mods first, which usually are good mods (not including mods like Sex blah blah), others will say you should go with what has the most endorsements but a lot of users will either forget to endorse or don't care. So then just pick and chose. Also try going through the Image Share and finding mods that way.
  22. Yes that'd be a great place to start from, I hated that the area is pretty useless for the most part.
  23. I'll keep trying to find more photos of robotic dogs that'd fit well, The one I first posted is most in line with what K-9 looked like, but as much as I love that look I'm interested in what else people may make instead.
  24. Yeah Black Isle was really a company ahead of it's time (Fallout creators, Baldurs Gate, etc.) But I hope it helps later, I have nVamp so i'll play through some AWOP locations eventually, If you need more ideas try looking at some more threads like "Post Your Quest ideas Here" "New Vegas Underground Expansion Ideas" "The Daily Jobs" Thread from page 3 onwards. "What Would Your Vault's Experiments Be?" And glance over the "Modders Resource's And Models" Thread since some of the listings may spark an idea or two. Just for fun, if you can, try adding a easter eggs with some of the rules from the "How to be a successful Evil Overlord List", just for laughs. Heres a creepy new enemy idea called "Living Mannequins/Statues" You could make referneces to important places and people from the Fallout lore, like the Poseidon company, Med-Tec, Vault-Tec, Vault City, Hubologists, etc. There are tons of places to look for stories that would fit in Fallout, like the Fallout Bible or play Fallouts 1 and 2 (since they are just as good as any new game, and without good graphics so they're technically better). The webseries is also very similar in story to Fallout.
