  1. Yes, I do get the signal and the station, but no sound, and it does play in the response window. I've checked them a few times, to see if the .wav files in somehow weren't "connected" to given greeting/song.
  2. Ok, I wrote about this last night (though the topic did dissaper) I did get some tips that I did follow, though the problem would remain. I donno how many times I've been peeking in the tutorial to see what I might have missed. I also donno how many times I've started over and followed the steps in the tutorial over and over. I'm missing something, I just know I do, but I don't manage to see what I am missing. So, this time, I've been taking screens of everything, hopefully someone got better eyes than me. (The whole thing is that Users remains 0 and Start Game Enabled remains N while it should be 2 and Y.) http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen6.png http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen2.png http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen1.png (I did not edit/add the reference ID this time, though I've done it in other atempts) http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen3.png http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen8.png (This is the 2 .wav files I've got after recording, replacing the temp and saving.) http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k319/Nimmeriz/Screen7.png And the Tutorial I'm using is This one. So, yea, in my eyes it seem to be asit should, but of course it ain't, then I wouldn't need to post this. What am I missing? Can anyone spot the problem?
  3. Avatar: Hmm... 8, cause it's sorta funny, but the avatar is sad :( Sig: 0 cause... there's non?
  4. Ummm, no, never had one. A... umm... A gigantic teddy bear?
  5. Issue Solved It apperes as that the problem is lying on the CD itself in this case.
  6. Hmm, yeah, could give that a try, haven't thought of their forum before.
  7. It's a common theme, but nothing bad with that, I like it better than those going on the radio every single day. I haven't heard the band, think I'll give them a try though.
  8. Ah, yes, forgot to mentioned that I do my tests with a new game, I should add that. It began with version uh... well, it started the first time I ran the game for the first time and listened to the Enclave radio just outside the vault. I've done same tests as you mentioned earlier after each re-install, also after patch 1.6 and for a few minutes ago even patch 1.7 ( figured I hadn't tested with that patch yet). Yes, too many re-installs than I can remember and my soundcard should be okay as far as I know, I updated it yesterday. Maybe my vanilla sound .bsa on the CD have gotten corrupted in somehow... If that would be the case I'll need to buy a new "Lunch box".
  9. Your idea have been tested, once again. No, it isn't the first time I do a test like that, the result were sadly as expected. A crash once again. :( But still I do find it very unlikely that a mod can cause a problem that started before I even had any mods/dcl, as I mentioned. Maybe the issue isn't caused by FO3 itself or any mods...but then what would it be... Oh well, if you get another idea, please shoot, I'm running dry myself.
  10. Seeing that you are using 1.5, is it the offical? As I've heard all over the place the offical 1.5 is recomended to stay away from. Try patch up to 1.6 and see if the issue solves.
  11. @DJ_D The file list you posted looks as mine, and I'm running the US version. @dudeio It might be possible that you of mistake might have deleted any mentioned file you can't find, if you haven't empty your trashbin already you could probably find it there. Else do as DJ_D mention above.
  12. This problem have sorta been hunting me since day one. At day one, that is for about 2 months ago, I didn't have any kind of mods or DCL's, I've just been modding the game for about 2½ week now, so I wouldn't start blaming the mods/DCL's. Anyhow, to the issue that you might have figured already involves a crash. Any area that got a radio or Eyebots that is tuned into the Enclave Radio will make me crash if I don't manage to turn off the radio or kill the eyebot asap. Why do I think it's the enclave radio doing this and not the area itself? Of course I've done my tests in the matter, and I'll list some of them: 1. Areas with an radio that is playing the Enclave radio doesn't ever crash as long the radio is turned off or Eyebot is dead. 2. Same areas as no.1 involves, always crashes after a little, little while if the radio or eyebot is on or left alive. 3. Megaton have never crashed for me, ever, so listening on the Enclave radio in my PB for a bit while being in Megaton and BANG, game crash. 4. Some bug I had would remove both the Enclave and GNR radios. Areas holding an radio playing the enclave or an Eyebot wouldn't crash anymore. (For I while there I were in heaven.) The funny thing is, it's always after the same speech and just before one of the songs is about to start that this issue takes affect. I can't give an exact description of the speech or song since I've been avoiding the Enclave Radio as much as possible, but I'm pretty sure the song starts with an flute, makes me thing on the American Civil War, or what it was called (war history isn't my strong side). But, if I am lucky and enter an area just after I'm safe until after the speech and the song is about to start again. So, after several re-installs, tests with different patches and without patches. Also with and without any kind of mod/DCL, the issue remains. (I forgot to mention that each test is carried out with a New Game) So, my question would be, why does the Enclave Radio hate me so much and how can I make it like me a lil bit better? :pinch: Ps. with 'without any mods' I mean that I completely empty the Data folder from mods so just orginal Fallout.bsa/.esm and such were left. Not just turning it off in FOMM.
  13. !!Warning!! !!Warning!! Idea hatching process have begun !!Warning!! !!Warning!! Naw, Wookie, look what you just did... :pinch: Nah, jokes aside, I, myself have also had the thoughts about it and lots of other things, though already having a bounch of project that I barley have time for, I of course don't have the time for another. :( But yea, the idea would probably suit your project very well, by the look of it.
  14. I'd have to say Wookie is correct, for the very moment I don't think there is any mods like that out there yet. Donno if anything like it is on it's way.
  15. For all I know, the underwears should dissapere with the TYPE 3 Body replacer, mine did, had trouble getting them back on at first. I don't think another mod should be needed for 'em to dissapere, so I'm leaning at to remove it and re-install. I'm not by FO3 comp now so I can't list the correct setup of folders so you can check if you have everything straight, I'm sure someone else however can do that.
  16. I'm having FL Studio in my mind. It's basicly a music creation program, but can also be used for recording and mixing voices.
  17. As far as I know offical patch 1.5 is extremly buggy, update to 1.6 and I think your problem might solve.
  18. I can agree more or less whith what's said so far. To add to the dialog parts, am I the onlyone that get bit annoyed on that NPCs face expresions barly changes at all when they are happy, angry, sad, confused etc? Feels like they all were some sort of souless beings.
  19. Nemos Problemos, just shoot your question and I or someone else will do our best, of course, to answer them. Hope you enjoy the Wastelands with your new threads and Bang-Bangs.
  20. I wouldn't have a clue if disabling it would do anything, I haven't met this issue myself. But I'm sure you can find an answer on it in the Fallout 3 Technical Support. Think I've seen some threads about the matter before.
  21. Don't think the unoffical patch is needed either at 1.6>1.7, I'm running fine. I believe that TYPE 3 might be the most use one, and if you get TYPE 3 I can also recommend the 'Dimonized female races and texrures Beta' and some of the other Dim mods. When it comes to weapons/ammo I can sugguest CALIBR and there's quite a few weapon mods around for it also.
  22. The mask looks really good, looking at some of the textures I start to think on the game 'Army of Two'. Nice moddeling way nicer than that ol' Hockey Mask!
  23. As far as I know the fakepatch were made for patch 1.5, which you won't need if you install patch 1.6 or 1.7, though I have heard some FOSE user having problems when using 1.7, and some seem to not have a problem, so I'm unsure if I should recomend 1.7... FOMM could be a good thing to use, also, running 1.6+ you don't seem to have need of the .bsa manager, I haven't used .bsa manager and so far TP, BS and OA works fine (apart from a minor armor bug in TP but I asume that's mostly cause I use TYPE3.) I donno what a must have mod would be, I've just downloaded those that fell in my taste.
  24. I've heard that it screws FOSE, but I've also heard it doesn't. So I'm in same boat as you on that point.
  25. You could pretty much just clear out the Textures/Meshes/Sound folders and clear any .esp and .bsa .esm that isn't original Fallout 3 files. Any bsa starting with Fallout is too keep. Fallout - xxxx.bsa <- keep Fallout3.esm <- keep Don't touch much else and you should end up with a mod free FO3 again, it's relative easy to clean, but I don't think someone might just "share" their Data folder. Or simply backup your saves and uninstall and re-install.
