  1. Act really fast! Only 6 hours & 19 minutes left!http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/blink.gif
  2. Kingmaker at Amazon.com As a fairly new NWN player myself (only a year or two) I had a heck of a time finding NWN stuff and I agree that where their older games are concerned BioWare lets their sites go to Hades. They seem to only focus on what is new and popular and thus making them the most money. Many of the downloads for NWN update patches are also defunct now. It is indeed sad how that goes. Though obviously copyrighted materials can't be uploaded to the new Nexus site, hopefully its existence will help players in the community communicate and track down other legal sources for the official expansions and updates.
  3. I'd be interested in hearing BioWare's reasons for not having any ME SDKs; such tools have done wonders for the popularity of Dragon Age IMHO.
  4. One of the things I love the most about the NWN games is that there are so many modules for them that I still haven't played them all. It's great when our favorite games never get old, and mods are a major part of that. Thanks to Dark0ne and everyone involved behind the scenes for continuing to support the modding and sharing of mods for the games we love.
  5. I'm hoping this won't be considered thread necromancy, but I only just stumbled upon this thread while doing a Google search for Two Worlds mods; it seems that the questions of whether or not the game could actually be modded and if so where to get the mods were never fully answered here. The following link should provide those answers: Inside Two Worlds. There is in fact an SDK which is supported by some other modding tools, but the devs never updated it to work with the latest version of the game. It's a shame it got abandoned because (with a good bit of modding) Two Worlds could have been something big.
  6. I've been using Wrye Bash to activate mods and launch the game. Seems to work well so far.
  7. http://forums.nexusm...es-and-strikes/ ^ That's a long page there. My point is: what exactly are you referring to?
  8. This thread was started with an assertion without any evidence to back it up. What was the file that got banned and for what illegal content? Important details to include if you're going to start ranting and throwing accusations around.
  9. Make sure you get the Python files that are needed to run it; they are available on the Wrye Bash files page.
  10. More mods and no more complaining about how long we had to wait for the CK, that's what's going to happen.
  11. To be honest, with today's aggressive marketing I think every game is over-hyped. Skyrim was indeed a fine example with it's live-action trailer that gave no clue whatsoever as to what the actual game would look and play like. Before that, we had the Fallout New Vegas ad that was nothing more than a snippet from the game's intro video, again giving almost no indication whatsoever as to what the actual game might be like. And then there was... ah, nevermind; you get the idea...
  12. That may very well work now after a few game patches, but when I started this thread two months ago such was not the case. At the time, this mod was the best solution that I found.
  13. You make it sound like the game has been out for several years; in reality it has been just under 3 months since it's release. If we've lost a large number of potential modders in that short period of time then I'd wager that such impatience is indicative of a lack of dedication to the game and thus whatever fleeting trinkets of instant gratification they might have produced will not be missed anyway.
  14. It's true. Game producers are under no obligation to release any game editing utilities or source codes whatsoever and thus such never happens for most games. This is why I say the OMG! IT'S BEEN A MONTH! complaints are examples of entitlement issues. We should be patient and thankful that Bethesda does indeed release such tools for their games.
  15. And it's something totally unheard of for a customer to be selfish. Even more so, since the CK was originally presented as being released together with the game or very close to its release date. Don't get me wrong; I like modding games as much as anyone. Just seems like regarding this issue there seems to be a sense of entitlement floating around here. I know they said January and there's nothing wrong with wanting them to live up to that, but I'm one of those folks who hasn't bothered to actually finish the game yet so I'm just not ready to start making major changes to it yet. I'm sure I'm a minority.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif
  16. There once was a Khajiit named M'aiq Who loved to lie and to sneak. He'd run 'round all day With quaint things to say; Then he'd be gone for a week!
  17. The game has only been out a couple of months. If you ask me, it's actually rather selfish of us to expect a CK so soon. After the game has been out a year would be more appropriate, IMHO. (Probably a good thing that they didn't ask for my opinion then, eh?) Cool story bro. :turned: Really not sure what that means, "bro".

  19. If anybody doesn't know what SOPA and PIPA are about, there are links on my blog where you can get more info and even sign Google's petition.
  20. Don't need to be melodramatic... Bethesda said they'll release the CK in January. Think about it. They wouldn't dare risk their necks by saying when it's going to be released and fail to keep their word. They know how much hype they're creating. Sure, but as their track record shows, they'll most likely meet their release date obligations by releasing a product that's only barely finished and so full of bugs that it will need several update patches.
