  8. The Sherlock series just started here on BBC (most TV shows start a season late in India, where I live), but since I hadn't seen a murmur about it online, I was quite surprised to see that the show was fast-paced and fun, with a lot of interesting characters. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to see a "modern" Sherlock (CSI clone?), but thankfully the series is great!
  9. You think Matt Smith is adorable?!!!

    *Sigh*

Bah, gurlz. I can never quite understand their whimsical idiosyncrasies.

Next thing, I know you will say the Screwdriver is a toy.

  10. BTW, the new Sherlock series on BBC Entertainment is just awesome. It is the master detective in a modern world, and the actors are quite good. Hope the series makers do some good stories and keep the pace set in the first episode.

Wow, I don't recall seeing that awesome scene before.

With just pair of forks and a couple of rolls, he created this amazing ballet dance. And that dazzling, innocent smile at the end is the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing this video, Naktis!

Hehe no problem. I had no idea about this myself for a while but I saw Benny & Joon on TV once and it had a scene similar to this. :D

Depp is a brilliant actor, I need to get a DVD of this movie as I haven't seen it before. Depp's tried hard, but his fork-roll ballet dancing is just no patch on Chaplin's magic. But I do like the effortless plate juggling and that girly screaming he does later.
  12. I don't like the new Dr. Who guy (Matt Smith). He looks and acts like a dumb***.

The older Dr. Who's on BBC (David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston) were great in that role and eccentrically charming, and I agree with Nadin - many of the TV shows are campy (don't know why the TV shows can't be rendered as well as the books), just enjoy them without too much scientific dissection.

    ...See if Maxthon helps.

Stuck with IE due to work websites and intranets?

Then you can install Maxthon browser. It was an IE-based browser called MyIE2, but now is a good browser with support for dual-engines: Gecko (IE) and Webkit (Chrome), so it renders most IE-specific websites very well (IE mode is "compatibility mode", and can be toggled by a quick "lightning" button next to the URL).
