  1. Do you think a guide like this would be contributing to Nexus? So, after playing Skyrim modded with Step, Skyrim SE with SEPTIM and playing Enderal i now think i have an idea how i want my Skyrim to be. So i am making up this BOREAL list/guide and load order. Inspired by "Step", "SEPTIM" , "Dragon Rising" and others. BOREAL is very lore friendly, northern scandinavia looking, rather vanilla, less blingy, system friendly and smooth. There is some not that noticed mods i have found and use. There are a bunch of the most popular mods that i dont use. I used NMM, LOOT, SSEEdit and Wrye Bash as Tools. Should i put in the time to publish on Nexus? Plugins
  2. Dragon Rising is just amazing! Finaly i found a guide that dont turn my Skyrim in to a colorful themepark. I used NMM and added a few (maby total 10 or so) mods in some sections to my liking. But DARN this is nice. Same northern scandinavian feeling as original game but better looking and better in all ways. Dragon Rising will be my base from now on. :) I am using Climates Of Tamriel in my build though. Is using an ENB advisable? Vanilla Re-Engaged maby?
  3. Very OT... but... Nothing experimental with SE. Works fine and looks awesum with 200+ mods and ENB. No ctd like in Oldrim. I use Oldrim for Enderal now.
  4. Very nice. I am on my third SEPTIM-inspired installement and this time i am rather happy. My list atm down below.
  5. Impressive amount of mods. How do you get it stable? Do you use MO or NMM when installing? I reinstalled a clean SE yesterday after ruining my last install with maximum plugins. Now settled with 205 mods. There is not much outdoor foto in your video. The dungeon interior looks way to reddish for me, actually everything is red, no other colors come alive at all. Also to much red in the outdoor i think. Why is the video so blurry? What ENB do you use?
  6. Sorry, that's a really dumb thing to say. Requiem user here, which is heavily dependent on SKSE. Plenty of such mods that rely on SKSE that have nothing to do with being a sex-mod. And many mods that utilise SKSE have been adapted to work with SSE in a way that limits their scope or are not fully featured versions. So yeah, nope. Sorry, i will never try to use anything resembling to humor on this forum since people dont seem to understand it. Many, lets say "casual", mod users download only from the top 200. So when for example more casual players asks if they should go for Oldrim or SE i still think the answer is SE. Because it is more reliable and a there are a lot of good mods for SE out there to make Skyrim a better game.
  7. So you say that people that like to play Enderal and Legacy of the Dragonborn could do that as well on SE? Keep your conclusions for yourself it is not always abour r-rated mods. Well, i have the same right as anyone to make conclusions. And for the record, i think you are alwas wrong. The r-rated was a bit of a joke, so i am sorry to see you have no sense of humor. Enderal works perfectly fine without being ported to SE. I hope that SureAI is not spending time trying to port it to SE but insted spends time making the current version even better and bringin more content. There are mods i do miss from Oldrim in my SE setup (i have them both installed and also Enderal), so i play them all... with a lot of mods.
  8. Just looked trough the 250 most downloaded mods for both Oldrim and SE to compare. Most of them are the same. The major different is that you wont find the sex-mods in the SE-list. :) (My conclusion is that those who complaine most about SKSE64 not out yet is those who like to play Skyrim with their pants down.) Actually it is interesting how similar the lists are.
  9. Skyrim is not an mmo with cash shop or subs. So why should Bethesda care if people are playing the game or not? There will be no more DLC for Skyrim so why spend time and money on it? I hope Bethesda is working on TES6, and not waisting time on a game that has already made them a fortune. If i were Bethesda i would put all energy on new games and maby content for FO4. I play both oldrim and SE with +200 mods on both and having a lot of fun. I find SE running better than oldrim and i dont miss any mods that much.
  10. Hi. I am no expert but i remember having a simmilar problem ones caused by vanilla start with " Live Alternative Life" installed. I belive i had to deactivate "LAL" until finishing Helgen and then reactivate it. Try yhat. :)
  11. There is no such thing as standard fantasy lore. The lore of the elder scrolls is part of an product made up by emplyes of an gaming company called Bethesda. Other games lore is made up by the employes there. Authors of fantasy books and cartoons make up the lore in the head as they write.
  12. Maby they have real jobs and lives to live? Pay them, and maby they will focus entirely on getting a free software out ,to a complaining and toxic community. :)
  13. Why not try SE out? Tons of nice mods, very stabile. I run with over 200 mods installed and it works great, smooth and i dont miss SKSE very often at all.
  14. This is actually something i have thought about to but i do think you have the answer in your own post. Time. Very few people have the spare time to such a vast project. It is much more easy to mak mods changing texures or adding stuff than to organize people to do voice acting. Being a good and skilled moder dont mean that you know anything about how to make good voice or sound. making voice acting is not a programming task. I would never spend that time without getting paid for it. Making really good quality voices is not that easy. The voice acting in Skyrim iis terrible... and made by proffessionals. But darn how nice it would be to chnge all the horrible voice acting af Skyrim.
  15. I dont use followers. They are just in the way. So i dont care. (I dont adopt either or get married. Neither do i build houses.)
  16. A bit ot, but i do understand why playing without using the map for the immersion. What i do not understand is why the need of an mod? Cant you just avoid pressing M? Or is it the map update messages that is the problem?
  17. I used one today after reading this thread. Summoned an Atronach for a minute. :) Will prolly not happen again.
  18. I use Open Citises with no problem. Some mods need patches for OC, look for that. I dont use wet and cold. Installing new mods as you go can be tricky. Alwase do a save before. Texture mods (mods that dont ad anything but just changes apparance) is normaly not gamebraking. Adding content or changing character, gameplay and npc's are worse. In my first moded play i spen like 200 hours and reached L43 i think before the unreparable crash... so i learned the hard way. My plug in loadorder atm below...
  19. This is how it is... i know the feeling. "Ok, I changed the mods around a bit (deleted a few and installed new ones)...since I've given up on playing my character ever again...new load order:" Deleting/uninstalling mods can often be even worse than adding new during a playthrough. In worst scenario the game gets so f...ed up you can not save it, and only thing is to reinstall everything and start all over.
  20. A good start and guide is SEPTIM (link below). I useit as a base and my installation with over 220 active mods is working great. Ofc you have to adapt it to your own taste but the order to do things and the general metod is solid. Some of the mods in the guide are Oldrim and some need special tweaks, if unserten... avoid those and only use SE mods installed via NMM. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2846/?
  21. Where do you download it from? latest version 0.63.13 is right at the top of the Nexus page. Works with no problems what so ever for me.
  22. Please forgive my ignorance, but does Enderal require SKSE? If not, then is there an SE version of Enderal available? I only know about Enderal for the original 32b Skyrim. All you need is Skyrim, Enderal (8gb size) and the Enderal launcher. Go to their homepage, download and play.
  23. Good point. But let us hope that SKSE64 is not all about moving mods from Oldrim to SE. I would like to se new mods made from groud to SE. There is way to much focus on a few but not always that good oldrim mods. I dont want Oldrim, i want Skyrim SE and mods made for it.
  24. We dont deserve anything. You just want other people to work free for you. Are you going to pay for SKSE? If you are in a hurry there is nothing that stops you from making your own SKSE and put it on nexus. People like you ruins gaming community.
